Needed some dice I could freely hand out at my game along with the ability for me to say "keep them" with a smile and not a hint of regret.This set is very safe. No glitter or wild ink colors. Very simple opaque, translucent, and some slightly shiny and swirly ones thrown in to keep the bag from being too boring. All have good contrasting ink colors, with Forbidden Treasure being a little weaker than the rest but the color combination is the knockout winner IMO and still plenty readable. Translucent yellow is also a little difficult but it's so bright and cheerful it might be worth it. Slightly disappointed there was no insert (or even the reverse of the paper label) showing the names of the sets, but there's nothing here too wild where naming is required.Despite my praise for Forbidden Treasure, I don't think opaque and simple dice are boring at all. They have a charm to them all their own. When all your friends are pulling out crazy nebula sparkle rocks with little teacups floated inside or whatever craziness they'll come up with next, your plain white with black ink set suddenly become the attention grabber. Try it, you'll see. Humans are interesting.Let's talk quality. The finish on the dice seem pretty decent and the translucents don't have any bubbles in them. Big difference between my 12 year old translucent Chessex set which is complete bubble town. And even at prices from 12 years ago, that set (a real set, not seconds fished out of a pound o' dice) was about triple the price of each of the 20 sets within this bag.Since I mentioned the competitor with incredible retail distribution reach, let's continue talking about them as a comparison. The Wiz Dice are all slightly (very slightly) bigger, except for the d4 which looks really undersized next to Chessex (and even undersized compared within themselves). Another exception is the d6 which is a nice, healthy size compared to the really small d6s in Chessex. Wiz Dice seem to be tumbled a less so while they're still attractively rounded, they look closer to the their intended polyhedrons compared to Chessex, most notably with their d20 which has the rounded edges just about equal in surface area as the flat faces. I think the Wiz Dice wins out for every die except the d4.Inking has less of a clear winner, unfortunately. Both brands seem to be hastily and splotchily inked. The molds seem okay, with the engravings seemingly deep enough, but the edging can be sloppy and the filling can have gaps. That said, looking at my Chessex set and comparing with Wiz Dice, Wiz Dice's white ink is much brighter than Chessex. I don't have blank inked Chessex to compare, but I'm curious if it's as dark as these. Wiz Dice edges out with higher quality paint.From the dates on the questions, this item seems to have been around since 2015. This is a review from 2022 so maybe this means they've worked out their quirks. None of the sets had dice with sprues still attached, none were missing, and they were all inked (to various degrees of success). Low bar? Maybe, but the reviews definitely put me on guard, but so far I've heard the manufacturer makes things right so I was only mildly concerned. I'm glad I didn't have to ask them to make it right and it was already right.Finally, overall value. Killer, absolutely killer. A little over a dollar per set of 7. There seems to be some arguing over whether these are factory seconds or not but personally, if these are seconds, I don't think the theoretical factory firsts have much room to be better. Each set is individually wrapped so "hey, I forgot my dice at home, can I borrow some?" is a question you can respond to by just reaching in the sack and tossing them a plastic satchel without much thought. And that bag? Looks great, stitching seems fine, with an understated and simple design.This is more than a "you could do worse" bulk pack of dice worthy of a 5 stars.

So, just to put a little perspective in for non-dice enthusiasts, the most commonly bought dice set is of the 6 core dice, save percentile but percentile is basically a less useful d10, at any local board game store for 10-12 dollars. That is for one 'technically incomplete set. I own one of these small sets, and they work alright. They aren't particularly interesting, but they work. A few days ago I was looking up dice sets that come bundles, which is something that players will most likely need, and came across an item called "A Mound of Dice." It's 35 dollars for 98 dice and one single coloured set. The 98 dice make up 14 sets, but they aren't colour coordinated. These come in a plastic bag with scuffed up dice. Luckily, before I bought it, as that seemed like an amazing deal to me, the person that spent 10 dollars on one set, I look up dice bags on Amazon. Low and behold, this strange unheard of company pops up. !Wiz Dice! The photo shows a clothbag, dice, and the phrase "$30 and free shipping with prime." But these dice... These dice weren't just grab bagged, some left overs from a factory. They were full sets, colours that matched, all of them in a set of their own. I opened the link and read the words "20 Sets," and saw them laid before me, some translucent, some with this weird sorts mixed colour scheme, and some that looked like the vintage sets. This, my friends, is truly a product made with love, and that bag feels so good. The fabric isn't pretty thick. I really like the bag. I didn't need it. Now I do. Get it for the bag, then worry about the dice. The dice are also good. Good dice.

Arrived promptly and exactly as described. This bag is really nice and soft with a sturdy drawstring so the dice won't tumble out accidentally. The embroidery is really pretty and neatly done. The dice sets this came with were all complete and the sets were exactly matching. A few of the dice look like they were a little roughed up (we will need to touch up the paint on a few so the numbers are more distinct) but that seems reasonable considering they were in a bag completely full of dice.I would guess we could fit at least another 100-140 dice in this bag so it will certainly hold enough for a big D&D group to have a few options each if players are new or don't have their own dice. We did several test rolls especially with the d20s and the sets seem well-weighted with no particularly strong or weak dice.I prefer to roll with matching sets and most of the colors are pretty distinct so they're reasonably easy to pick out of the bag although the solid and pearl colored dice are pretty similar looking so they might take a bit more time to discern when you pick them out. It might be prudent to purchase some smaller bags to separate the dice by color/set inside this larger bag to keep them organized but that might only appeal to me.Overall this is an awesome set and will absolutely satisfy the dice-hoarder mentality that so many of us tabletop gamers have developed.

I originally purchased this for my little sister's birthday, but I liked them so much that I bought 2 more! (1 for me and 1 for my best friend.)I absolutely love these dice, even if they aren't all perfect. Most of the translucent dice have a minor air bubble somewhere in them (which suggests to me that the non-translucent dice may have tiny air bubbles as well), but I don't expect that to be a problem for my d&d group. Of the three bags I bought, I've found two dice with scratches (both were d6s, if I'm not mistaken), one white d6 with an indent/deformity near the corner that may have been caused by an air bubble being too close to the edge (the black paint from the numbers has filled it in a little so you notice it, but It's probably still usable if you're desperate enough to use it), and the tops of the translucent red d4s look like they've been dropped on one point a little too hard (I can feel the rough point, but there are no noticeable chips). There's also a handful of dice with less-than-perfect paint jobs. Some numbers appear to have chipped paint, although it's probably more accurate to say "they missed a spot" or didn't color them in as well as they could have. A couple other numbers are slightly sloppy, with a little paint outside the lines. One d20 (the sand one) has a 16 that looks like an 18 and the dot that tells you "this is a 9" is not painted in. 2 of the green sets look pretty similar so I have to look closely to tell them apart.With the exception of that white d6, these imperfections are fairly minor, with the most noticeable being the crappy paint job on maybe a dozen dice. (One dozen out of 140 really isn't all that bad, is it?) I did get 20 complete sets of 7 dice in each Bag of Holding, as promised, and I just love picking them up in handfuls! If one's not good enough, there are plenty more to choose from!As for the bags, they do seem to be made of fairly cheap material, but it holds up well. One of the bags did come with a slight hole in the bottom left, but it appeared to have been an error in sewing and not a tear. I just happened to have the right color thread so I stitched it up quickly by hand and it looks good as new! The embroidery is beautiful and looks great. I cut off the jump stitches on the outside of the bag, (those ugly red threads that connect from letter to letter), and it looks much better now. (Careful not to cut the actual embroidery!) The drawstrings are nice and work well. One of the bags doesn't close as well because the drawstring feels like it got stitched by accident, but it closes most of the way and it'll stay shut if we tie the drawstrings.I should give it 4 stars because of the imperfections, but I want to give it 5 because I love them so much! Also, considering that the comic book store near my home charges 85 cents a die to buy these things loose, (and they usually cost much more to buy them by the set), I'd say these dice are worth buying!

As advertised, I received exactly 140 dice, and 20 complete sets. 19 matched sets and 1 mismatched set of 6 same colour and 1 not. There are 20 different variants of colour included, i.e. clear vs solid, speckled vs marbled.My one mismatched set is a nice metallic/marbled blue that would have been great as a fully matched set. It was only six dice with one solid blue to make the set. Looking at the contents photo, it's the set called Horizon.The photos for this product accurately depict the colours received, and most of them do indeed make very nice looking sets and worth the price! To get a well stitched and beautifully embroidered bag (front and back - but as one other reviewer noted, "Wiz Dice" is on the reverse, but still stylishly done) as well makes this an very easy purchase.I may ask Amazon to exchange based on the promise that "This bag contains complete sets of all 20 current Wiz Dice colors, guaranteed!" and in this case my Horizon set is in fact incomplete, using a spare opaque blue to finish it. I did get 20 full sets, just not all 20 colours as it should have been.In regards to overall quality, I will be honest in that I did not inspect each die, but rather noticed in general handling of them when counting sets that only 3 had very minor ink/paint flaws. Two had a small bit of paint transfer outside the numeral hole, and one had the paint partially scuffed off one of the numerals. These are insignificant to me, noted only to be thorough in this review.It's still easily worth the price of $33 paid and I have more sets than I can reasonably use, very happy with it even based on slight issues noted. I still consider this a 5 star product in it's current state, and look forward to a COMPLETE set upon exchange.

There are seven dice per set, a d100, a d20, a d12, a d10, a d8, a d6, and a d4. Each set came complete, so seven of a given color. And all 20 sets were unique, although some were similar.There are three green sets, one is semi-transparent, one is solid colors, and another with a hint of white misting. Red had solid colors and misting as well. Several of the sets (a third or so) were the partially opaque/semi-transparent dice. For the most part, with the exception of golden lettering on the white set, there is good contrast between the numbers and the background.Excellent value -- a set of Chessex dice go for $13.95 at my friendly local gaming store. This set of 20 dice was under $40, greatly discounted from the $279 +tax for the Chessex. Aside from coloring, we cannot tell they aren't a brand name set of dice.We liked them enough to buy a second set of 20, which was exactly the same shades as the first set (so not totally random, at least on this batch).*Amendment*After several months of use the dice are holding up fine. A single (purple) d20 has been discovered to have two each of 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20, without any 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 on it. One of my players has been using it since our purchase and just noticed (and brought it to the group's attention) during last night's session. As far as we can tell, it was the only "cheater" die in the set, and the other set's purple die is a normal d20.

As advertised, I (mostly) got 20 different sets of 7-set dice, and the cloth "Bag of Holding". The bag had one stitch that was a little off, but I fixed that quickly.Now, of all the dice, I am missing one (solid blue d4) and one is pretty badly malformed. In the black set, the d8 has one point that is bent like a stereotypical wizard's hat. The d4 on the plain white set also has some numbers that are hard to see, but the rest of the dice are rather great or minor paint flaws with some numbers that can be easily fixed.I already have a bunch of dice, but no completed sets with lots missing, so having 3 dice being gone or malformed doesn't mean too much to me outside of being a small bummer. The best part of these dice though, is that I can ignore those 3 dice with the one set of metallic white with gold print. They are easily being separated as the "Divine Judgement" dice purely based on their look, and this set is not missing any or are malformed.I am giving it a 4-star based on the nice dice bag, very few errors, and overall great quality. Because of the missing die, the badly malformed die, and for 2 sets of green that are easily mistaken as the same set, I can't give a full 5 stars, no matter how nice that "Divine Judgement" set is.I'd still recommend getting this though for anyone in dire need of a lot of dice. It'd be nice to get the missing one, buggered one, and barely-legible ones replaced, but I'm not going to hassle anyone for 3 dice, let alone on color sets I don't mind seeing this problem on. All-in-all, a great purchase.
