Easy to use and makes hair soft
I like using all-natural products on my hair, and decided to order this after seeing it recommended a few times on the Long Hair Community forum. Since I've been suffering from dry scalp all winter, I ordered the enriched version of this since the lemon is supposed to help with itchy scalp. I've only been using it a few weeks, but I like it a lot. I massage it into my scalp and then smooth it through my hair the nights before I'm going to be washing my hair, and then shampoo it out in the morning.Since it's not yet hot, this has retained a solid state, but I was able to pry off the inner plastic cap, which allows me to squeeze a small glob out into my palms. From them, I rub my palms until the oil melts into a liquid, and apply to my hair. The scent is also not too strong; it's a bit stronger than regular coconut oil (which I happen to love the scent of, but my husband doesn't) because of the added herbs, but it's not too overpowering.

Great Hair Oil
This is a very good hair oil and is actually my staple hair oil. I use it over a leave-in conditioner to lock in the moisture after I have washed or co-washed my hair. It makes my hair very soft and pliable, easy to detangle, and shiny. The smell isn't the best, but it doesn't have a bad smell: parfume-like, if you will. Since it is coconut oil, it is solid at room temp, so you have to run warm water over the bottle before use. I sometimes use this as a hot oil treatment, and it works fantastically. I definitely recommend this product for use on your hair. For reference, I have thick, curly, and long multi-ethnic hair. For those interested in curl types: 3b-3c. This is a great product, you won't regret buying it.

Wonderful, Love it!
I am currently transitioning to natural so I am constantly dealing with the dryness and different textures. I have found other products that takes care of those issues but they are a bit expensive so I wanted something to use as a backup. I tried this product first let me say the delivery was on point. I recieved my bottle of oil faster than I expected to. I applied it to my hair and at first I did not notice a difference but as I began to brush and smooth my hair it definitely made it softer. It's not too oily and does not leave your hair with that greasy feeling so thats a plus. However, I give it 4 stars because it did not soften my ends as much as I thought it would. I have used other coconut oils and it soften my ends. I had to constantly brush and add oil to smooth it out. But this is a great product to use when you are in between products or if you just want to moisten your hair really quick before bed. I have not tried it as a hot oil treatment yet, but I plan to soon. It has great ingredients, Alma, Henna, Lemon, Coconut oil and it smells amazing together by the way, so I am sure it will definitely work better on my ends once it is heated.

Love it! (How to use it)
I have fine, light brown, mostly straight hair naturally. However, the winters here tend to dry out my hair terribly, leaving me with split ends and lots of frizzy hair. I've started using this product once a week and it leaves my hair SUPER soft and shiny! It doesn't smell bad at all either, at least not to me. (My husband dislikes coconut smells). Here's how to use it: All you do is heat it up for about 15 seconds in the microwave, squeeze out about a tablespoon full (more if you have longer hair, my hair is shoulder length), put it in a small dish, microwave it for another 10-20 seconds until its completely liquid, then use your fingers and start by massaging it all over your scalp and then I get it on the palms of my hands and massage it through the rest of my hair. I do this until it has a sort of "wet" look and I can run my fingers through my hair without catching any tangles. Let it sit however long you want. I usually let it sit for an hour or two while I'm watching TV or playing on the computer. You can even use it overnight if you're sleeping on a towel. Shampoo twice and use conditioner like normal. I try to let it air-dry after I wash it, at least the first day.Voila! Soft, silky, shiny hair all week!!!

Not liquid oil
This is my replacement bottle and it to is solid. I have to run it under water to get a few drops. Not worth the time. Not returning due to they have made it an inconvenience by making me go to ups vs kohl's

Great Herbal Coconut Oil for Natural Hair
Perfect condition, Brand New. Smells GREAT. No leaks during shipping. I am happy with my purchase. This was my first time trying this. I plan to purchase again, I finished this bottle in about 8 or 9 months, as you get quite a bit, and also I use this Dabur Vatika Coconut oil in rotation along w/ other oils like EVOO and TeaTree, just started trying out Castor Oil and Avocado Oil too. Coconut and EVOO will always be HG Staples, I think nothing can replace them in my routine. I like this product a lot, I notice its not advertised as VIRGIN coconut oil IDK but it has some GREAT Herbs in it and there is no mineral oil in it so, overall a good natural product and a good experience. I don't like the bottle too much it is rather hard to squeeze (when trying to determine if it is melted or hard) and has a weird inner plastic top (I've never seen before), so I actually melted the oil by putting the bottle in a bowl of hot water and poured the oil into a clear container with a big opening so that I could get to it easier, I also added some to my shea butter as I like to use them together and this really does smell good. I will definitely purchase from this seller again.
