Chicology Cordless Faux wood blinds Best for Kids, Inside Mount, 16"W X 72"H, Basic White

Dear Chicology, I was not 100% satisfied with your company.I have made two orders with you in the past year. Both times there have been issues with the orders.The first order in June of 2018, we made the error of ordering the wrong color. When we returned the blinds, excellent service!! The new blinds were delivered quickly. However there was no hardware included for one of the blinds. When the hardware was sent, there were parts missing. We finally got the parts and the blinds look great!The second order on March 12, 2019, I ordered 6 blinds that were supposed to be Chelsea White but we received White instead. The boxes were clearly marked white. It would have been a big hassle to return them and we would not have received the replacements in time. They were needed for a church event that is happening tonight, March 30th. Although the white ones are ok for the room, it was disappointing to not have the off-white color that we were expecting.Having said that about the dis-satification of the accuracy of the orders, we really do like the blinds' construction and looks.

These blinds honestly look great. Very impressed when I put them up on my window. However, I have a few reservations and not sure if I’ll keep them.First the are VERY heavy. You have to pull fairly hard to get them to pull down and I’m worries they’ll pull out of the wall after a while.Second, when the blinds are pushed up, they’re not even from the side view. They either slide back towards the window or fall forward into the room (see pics). Adjusting the slant angle has no impact on this.

At first I was not happy that my shipment was delivered to a wrong address and I had to find it and drive 7 miles to pick it up. But that's probably not the fault of the manufacturer. Once I received the blinds I went right on YouTube and pulled up the installation instructions. After that it was up and 'shading' in about b15 minutes. No skills nor special tools required.The material seems very rigid and easy to clean.They look and work great!

Couldn’t be happier with these 72x48 faux wood blinds from Chicology!! No trimming or slat removal was necessary. Easy to install. Fit my window LIKE A GLOVE. Cordless. The blinds come with all the hardware needed for installation as well as a nice valance with side returns. The slats themselves are smooth and not ‘wood textured’. For around this same price, I had been looking at a big box store version of cheaper blinds. Theirs were of lesser quality than Chicology. The slats on the big box store faux wood blinds were made of inferior material that could easily bend/crease/snap in two....possibly warp.You can see in one of my photos that the blinds do let some light in when closed. This is fine with me because I am using these for privacy vs complete room darkening.I am INCREDIBLY happy with these Chicology blinds! They met my need for a very reasonable price and a good fit to my window! Quick delivery, too!

I bought one set to see what they were like. We want to use in my bakery to keep the bright sun out during the afternoon and to let people know when we were open and closed. We weren't sure about the quality and how they would look. We received them fairly quickly and just recently put them up. We love them! They are excellent quality, easy to install and a great color. We will be ordering 3 more as we have 4 windows in the front of the shop. These do not have a pull string which threw us off for a few seconds until we figured out you simply pull down or push up on the blinds to open and close. The look great and appear to be pretty sturdy. I will update my review if we have any issues in the next few months. As of right now, 5 stars all the way.Update: I ordered two more of these same exact blinds. The valance is different, the brackets are different and they have more yellow to them when compared to previously ordered blinds. Chelsea White was ordered on all three orders (4 blinds total) and the last two sets are different. We cannot return them at this point. We have been waiting for the last several months for these to come back in stock and the bakery is set to open. We will just install them and hope my OCD doesn't stare at them and see the two different colors. I only knocked off one star because I still feel they are of good quality.

Per their instructions blinds come with a 1/2" allowance, so if you buy a 35.5" wide blind it should come 35" I have a window 35 1/4 inside dimension. I ordered the 35.5 wanting a 35" wide to fit inside with a bit of an allowance for the bracket (less than 1/8) .Guess what? All the blinds I ordered are just over 35 or just over that low mark. a smidge over 1/8 Definitely not 35" , I bought other sizes have the same issue. Problem? I saved to have someone install, finally can afford and guess what? Can't use them, can't return or exchange. Don't buy if accurate sizing is important to you

We had to order the larger blinds (58 inches). The blinds were easy to install and looked great from the inside. The problem we had was with the middle support brackets. We had white blinds but the support brackets are silver. The blinds were for the front window of our house and from the street, you could see the two silver brackets that stood out against the white blinds. We ended up taking them down and painting them white. Previous blinds we have gotten from other companies have had white brackets and I think this should be standard. I would have given 5 stars if the brackets had matched.

They arrived without a valance piece. They also hang very unevenly (the middle is fine but they sag on either end, hanging inches lower than the middle.) There is no one that answers the phone at the Chicology customer service, even during the hours they say they are available (M-F 8-5, no weekends). They quickly responded to a support ticket I put in on their website but the answer was "return them to Amazon if you have any problems" when I asked how to fix the very uneven blinds. The separate response I received about getting the missing valance was the exact same, "return to Amazon if you have any problems." No support whatsoever. They were inexpensive but ended up being a complete waste of money and time. Don't buy them.

This was easy to install, a perfect fit and looks great. Its cloud white which is not a bright white and matched my window trim perfectly. We pre-drilled for the brackets and it was done in no time. All parts were supplied and in great shape. This is a good quality blind.

First review I have taken the time to write.- Deliver time pretty impressive considering the product is custom cut (2 weeks)- Packaging well done, product arrived in good condition- The product quality was much better than I expected, look, feel, weight and detail- Easy install, straightforward and the supplied pieces actually fit and snap into place where they are supposed to.- They operate smoothly, both the height adjustment and the slat angle adjustment- Two observations: 1) the hardware (screws) are low quality and soft, either pre-drill or spend a few pennies at a hardware store (or do both). 2) There is one error in the instruction drawings, it shows the mounting bracket above the window casing attached to the wall. This of course will not work as the blinds will not clear the casing. If you want it mounted above the casing then you will have to add some blocking on the wall with the same depth as the casing (FYI)All that said, I am extremely happy with the blinds and am now looking for an excuse to order more.

Blind goes up well. Was the right fit for the measurements I gave and mechanisms seem to work well. The only thing I don't like is the twister wand is diffrent sizes depending on the size you buy but they were all for the same window just 3 separate blinds and now the wands are diffrent lengths and look silly beside one another

Had these maybe 2 monthes and they have already begun to click when I open and close them and i have to manually help the one close. And I have no kids and no pets to mess around with them. This is just everyday normal open and closing

Does what it’s suppose to do and for the price u can’t go wrong. I love the design where’s there’s no cords and you can just pull it down and there u go ! Highly recommend it!
