Great, but way overpriced
If you aren’t really a fan of the terrible crop factor of MFT then speedbooster as are a great way to mitigate that at a cost of expense and weight.Works great with most EF mount lenses, though I’ve had freezing issues with the 70-200 2.8 II that I’ve had to restart my GH4 for.You get something closer to a APS-C fov with added stops of light but the expense of buying it new makes you ponder if you should perhaps ditch the format and go purchase something in the Sony or Canon realm. Purchase it used. You’ll save a lot of money and feel less remorseful if you want to sell it and get some value back.

Works finally for my OMD E-M1 Mark II
Originally purchased this to use with my Olympus OMD E-M1 and my Pen-F. Worked good with the OMD, and great with the Pen. However, recently I upgraded the OMD to the Mark II. Unfortunately, this adapter will not work with the OMD E-M1 Mark II (at least not at this time). According to Metabones "the optical element of our SpeedBoosters and the sensor of this camera is too close". So, be aware that if you plan to use this with the OMD E-M1 Mark II, it will not work.August, 2019-Sent my OMD E-M1 Mark II in for repairs. The autofocus was not working correctly during autotracking. After Olympus fixed my camera, I discovered the Metabones speedbooster works. So, due to bad Olympus help and a faulty camera, I got it wrong. The camera does work with the metabones adapter.

Worth it!
I have only had it for a few days, but so far, so good. I used it on both my Panasonic G9 and Olympus Em1m2. I have tested it on the following lenses:Tamron 70-200f 2.8G2Tamron 15-30f2.8Tamron 35f1.4Tamron 85f1.8AF worked on all lenses tested. The speed booster worked on all lenses except the 35f1.4.It is expensive but worth it!

Don't hesitate to buy this!
It is nice to buy a product these days that lives up to expectations. This one exceeded mine. I was a Canon 7D shooter and had a good amount of glass, including, L glass. Switching to the OMD em1 mk2 system has been awesome but I wondered whether I could make use of my Canon lenses. So the choice was whether to buy another Olympus lens, in this case, the awesome 75mm or get the Metabones speedbooster. All I can say is WOW. My new favorite lens is my Canon 85mm mounted on my Olympus. Nothing short of amazing. All of my Canon EF lenses focus instantly with no delay. The added speed on the lens creates amazing bokeh. My Canon 70-200 L lens is now an awesome equivalent of a roughly 100-285 mm that is really useful because of the OMD's IBIS. In short I am very pleased and would make the purchase again.

Compatibilty problems or defective unit?
Returned, failed to focus on a new panasonic micro 4/3 camera (that works) and any of many Canon lenses I own. Updating the firmware did not help.

Doesn't always work.. Hit or Miss with my good Canon Glass
This adaptor works great with most of my Canon Lenses, but the most important one (24-70) it did not work on and kept generating an error on the camera that the Lens wasn't connected properly, so it became fairly useless and I ended up buying a Micro Four Thirds lens. Tried to get assistance from Metabones, but they wanted me to send it back to them (in Asia) at my expense which was over $200 from my location. At this point it's permanently attached to my 70-200 Zoom lens and works great, but I'm very frustrated that it didn't work with the intended lens.

Works great!
Finally I can use my Canon and Sigma lens on my GH5. Very happy with my purchase though it was quite pricey.
