Starship Down

Great premise, well researched, cool dialogue!

Fantastic story reminiscent of the X-Files. Liked the protagonist a lot. Strong artwork reminded me of Hugo Pratt's Corto Maltese stories but in color. The story seems to end just as things get going but does wrap up rather quickly in the last couple pages. There are enough loose ends to warrant a sequel. The plot is complex and has a depth that make me wonder whether the graphic medium is the best way to tell this story--although it worked well for me. There is intrigue, but little action (which may explain some of the low ratings). (I always find action way overdone in graphic novels.) The premise would make a great movie or basis for a prose novel.
