Highly authentic, might be different to what you find in American restaurants
This is a highly well made, perfectly authentic mint chutney from India. It will appeal to Indians that are used to a medium spicy, mint chutney with hints of ginger, tamarind and other such flavorings that are almost always omitted in the watered down, catered-to-America sauces we find in Indian restaurants here in the US.Use small quantities, this is not a dip or a spread. It is a real chutney. Should be used for adding a world of flavor with just a dab, and is by no means a sauce. Use this info as you may.

Salty almost spicy
UPDATE: The incredible customer service I received makes me want to buy this again. Maybe I just received a bad batch? Who knows? They were kind enough not only to reach out but in the gave me a refund. I will definitely buy from them again! They obviously care about putting out a good product which is why I am updating my review.Old review:I’m sorry to leave a 1 star review but this is horrible. I don’t normally even read 1star because they aren’t reliable. This is salty and almost spicy. It says best by Nov of next year so I know it is not expired. However it is supposed to be sweet and tangy. So there in lies the problem.

Gone off.
It’s “gassy” it was opened even though the seal was in tact. It is leaking and once the lid came off it overflowed.

Delicious
I tried this chutney on chicken curry and it is minty and pretty spicy. I use it on curries and dal. Will buy again. Going through an Indian phase and there are no Indian restaurants where I live so I have been ordering a lot from Amazon.

Eccentric Taste
Certainly not a vadapav chatni. Its not dry have a paste like consistency, thats fine for me. But it does have an eccentric taste as of its cooked in mustard oil or the taste has gone bad.

Concentrated And Packs A Punch!
This is very concentrated. Use it as a base starting point. Use three heaping tablespoons of your Rani Mint Chutney - mixing everything in a small food processor/blender add some - plain unflavored yogurt, cilantro, coriander powder. I also added some minced garlic (from squeeze bottle, lol, adds more garlic taste and sweetness), as well as a tablespoon of sugar. BOOM! Just like the restaurants!!

Taste good
I adore the flavor. My friend in India advised me to purchase this item. Glass bottle is delivered carefully and in excellent condition. I now buy this on a regular basis.

Fiery
If you want a nicely fiery coriander chutney this won't let you down. It's rather thick, more like a paste, but then it's good to add whilst cooking curries as well as being a relish for poppadoms.

Terrible
This did not taste anything like Pani Puri water and had an awful aftertaste! The only thing that was good about it was the packaging. I’d request a refund if they would give one, but this product isn’t eligible.

Great
Hot. Really interesting flavour profile, delectable. I have not had a lot of chutney in my life, but I have had enough to know great when I taste it. Will buy over and over.

Was looking for this in local stores but couldn't find. So happy to have it and all was well packed.

The best mild supplement I have found
I wouldn't use this as a sandwich spread but it is a killer good complement to Indian food of almost any kind. Mild enough but still very flavourful
