Ever since I got this, the sun hoodie has instantly become my go-to for anything in the sun or where I might sweat. I have retired all of my button-up hiking shirts, which are much less comfortable, have less sun coverage, and are covered in unnecessary bits and pieces like breast pockets, collars, pleats, and buttons. The sun hoodie does everything better. The great thing about the hood is not just the coverage for your neck and ears, but the fact that it's thin enough to go under a hat to hold it in place.The Willit is quite a nice product for the price. The fabric is lightweight but still feels substantial, durable, and stretchy. It is very comfortable and has held up well through numerous adventures. I went ahead and picked the lightest possible color to reflect the sun: white. I really like the way it looks, and I went into it expecting it to get stains. Sure enough, it has picked up a few, but that doesn't bother me because it's a rough-and-tumble activity shirt and it gives it some character. It fits well overall, although it does run a bit small. I would recommend going up one size, since you want it a little loose for airflow. My t-shirt size is usually L but I ordered an XL, and I'd say that the sleeves are just barely long enough—using the thumb holes feels like it pulls too much and isn't comfortable. One feature I might wish for is a kangaroo pocket, but it's not necessary if you have pants pockets.Highly recommended, get a sun hoodie

Smooth comfy fabric, quality sewing, color withstands washings (I hang dry), lightweight but higher SPF protection than thinner shirts. 6’ 190lb 36” waist Large TTS — sleeve length good, shirt actually covers butt, roomy but flattering midsection. Husband has purely functional requirements but I like how he looks in it. Willit IS THE ONLY shirt he likes vs all the ones we’ve tried. Other $19-$30 shirts a joke. DON’T MAKE MISTAKE buying cheaper far inferior brands w confusingly higher ratings. HEED MY WARNING.Willit — DO. NOT. CHANGE (CHEAPEN) THE QUALITY OF THIS SHIRT. 8 in rotation now, will buy for life. ONLY note from husband: length normal but 1-2” longer length better bc outdoor folks bend over & wearing hood raises back a bit. Wife’s only concern is harder stains don’t come out — but that’s outdoor work. If ANY way to improve length + stain durability better I swear we’d pay $60 per shirt n still a steal. I bought this hoodie to wear outdoors for sun protection. I need full coverage of my ears and the sides of my face when wearing a hoodie, due to my high risk of skin cancer. This hoodie fit well in every regard except the hood was too small for me. I wear hoodies over a baseball cap and this one left the sides of my face fully exposed to the sun. For someone who isn't concerned about this, it would probably work fine. I ordered a men's large and I'm 5'10". I have a large hat size but have no problem getting adjustable baseball caps to fit and have had good coverage with other hoodies made by Spyder. AFTCO and CooRun.

I didn't know SPF shirts existed until a friend recommended one to me. The shirt feels high-quality, is well-designed, and is incredibly comfortable, even in hot weather. I wear it for fishing, hiking, and biking, and it’s a game-changer—not needing to apply sunblock is a huge plus. When biking, I used to have to apply sunblock on my neck and face because of my helmet, but with this SPF 50 shirt, I no longer need to.The shirt is also reasonably priced and comes in a variety of colors. I bought two so I always have one ready when the other is in the wash. My only concern is durability, as I bike 2-3 times a week. I'll update my review if the product doesn’t hold up over time.

My body is only capable of two colors, white and red. I got this for fishing primarily, which I used it for over the last few weeks many times. Fit is great, just loose enough, breeze blows through it, but most important it keeps you from being directly assaulted by the sun. It was over 100 degrees, light breeze, but I was comfortable. When I had the sun behind me I'd put the hood up and wear a hat to hold it in place as I moved around. Worked great! It does have thumb holes on the sleeve ends to hold the sleeves down, I did not find that comfortable for use while fishing, but while PWC'ing around a lake they were great.

I bought 2 love them, nice colors stay bright thru wear n laundry. Comfy. Protects from sun to skin. Wear everywhere

Lightweight, comfortable and keeps the sun off the skin. I'm 5'8 160lbs and a M fits great. Sleeves are a tad short, If you have long arms you might want to size up.
