Wheelsmith Brass Nipples (Pack of 50), Silver, 20x12mm

I looked around for some nipples after rounding off my stock nipples with a multitool. There aren't many options for spoke nipples on Amazon but I decided to take a chance on this one. Glad I did! Looks like new again. Would buy again 5/5.

I rounded over a bunch of spoke nipples with pliers because I didn't have a spoke wrench yet (but got this one which is great:  Park Tool SW-7.2 Triple Spoke Wrench ). So I replaced all the spoke nipples on one wheel with these, and they are just like the original ones - it took 36 of them. I also greased the threads this time so they would be easier to adjust in the future.

I rebuilt a 27" wheel with these and 36 Wheelsmith spokes. All the nipples went on the spokes as desired and expected. Turned easily. Almost all fit the 3.2 mm spoke wrench. Three or four required using 3.3 mm spoke wrench, but they would've worked with the 3.2 mm with a little fidgeting.

These were perfect as a time saver for cleaning up a rim with rusty spoke nipples. Anyone want to bag on Wheel smith? Their spokes appear on MILLIONS of bicycles!If you do a lot of bike work keeping a bag or two of these handy will save you time and leave you with much better results than saving a bunch of honked up spoke nipples. the only time I would personally save old spoke nipples is if they are from an OLD vintage bike and happen to be odd like extra long or shaped odd.

Had a broken nipple on my road bike but the spoke was fine. Didn't know if these would work but I bought them since they were cheap. A little smaller(thinner) than the ones I have but they are the correct length and fixed my problem. No issues here.

I had to match an existing rim, and these 12mm silver plated nipples were needed. They are a standard for many US builders, so that was endorsement enough for me. I have some left over, or not enough for my NEXT rim...which begs the question: Why not sell quantity 72?

The shipping was very fast. The brass spoke nipples pack was package perfectly in a small yellow mailer via the USPS. I needed more of these nipples to start rebuilding my front wheel, where all the nipples were unusable. I look forward to rebuilding.Thanks

Threaded on the spokes just fine. It's too bad that the wheel I used them on was bent beyond repair but I now have a bunch of nipples if I ever need them.
