Hohner Old Standby Harmonica, Key of F

Received from seller in good time and condition. The harp plays as well as can be expected for 1/3 of the price of a good one. Am satisfied with my purchase, as I only needed the instrument for one song.I expect difficulty in coaxing higher notes out of a cheaper harp. If I were a real harp player, I'd definitely go with a more expensive Hohner.

Disappointed. It is difficult to play. If you are a pro, or have big lungs, it may come in handy as a back up for camping trips, but a beginner should start with something better in the key of C. The least expensive and only Chinese made Hohner harmonica worth buying is the Blues Bender. While it does not have the tone of the German made Horners, at least is very playable. If you are looking for a Hohner harmonica that is playable, good tone and bendable consider the Special 20 or a Marine Band. The Bushman Delta Frost and Suzuki Harpmaster are similar enough to the Special 20 they should be considered (slightly better tone, slightly harder to bend).
