Best quality switch I have ever bought..Not on the fancy side but wins with quality !!
These are no doubt the best quality smart switched I have ever bought. I have 6 other smart switches from 3 other brands in my home so I can confidently tell that these are really good. I bought to replace my hallway standard 3-way switched but ended up installing as a single-pole in my bathroom as I realized it is worth to control two things instead of one when already these are smart and mostly I control anything via Alexa/Google.My 2 cents below :Pros:- Build quality is very good. The touch and feel of this product will impress you. Even the wires and fixture looks high quality- Installation is easy if you have done such a thing before. First-timers may take some time but very easy if you follow the directions. Opening board and figuring out the load/live/ground/neutral wires from a mess of wires might be fearful for the first install but just refer any youtube videos and take your time to install the first one. You will get addicted to these switches and I am sure you will be faster in installation from 2nd go.- You can use these as single-pole by putting load wire in Traveller1 and leave Traveler2 empty/ Manual doesn't have directions for this method.- Connects to wifi without any issues and connection doesn't drop. I have been using these for almost a week now. Setup is easy via the SMART LIFE app.- Alexa/Google works like charm and control without much delay.- Back housing is not as big as others which I own and so I was able to fit 2 of these in a 2-gang board.- That satisfying click mimics actual non-smart switch- Wires nut for live/load/ground/neutral are together on one side making it easy to put in a small board- Small LED at bottom is helpful tooCons:- I wish their LED was always ON with blue/red indicating ON/OFF. Also if wifi sign on the switched had build-in LED's to make it fancier.- The price is a little higher. There are many other cheap ones but I guess that is a trade-off for good qualityIn short - a must add on for any smart home. This works great and gives enough flexibility. Great build and good enough direction for installation to setup. Needs neutral wire so buy only if you are sure that you have one behind your electric boards.

Convenience + Safety
I am an electronics engineer and not a certified electrician who does house wiring. I just installed one and will share my experience here but it is up to the reader to use my guidance or not. The switch is clearly marked and instructions that come with the switch are clear also. Once you have Gosund app in your mobile, you will be using bluetooth or the switch generated wifi to program the wifi in the switch. If the green light flashes fast the switch can be reached through bluetooth and if you make it flash slow by holding down the switch for 5 sec, then you are attempting to reach it through its wifi. Your house's wifi are first configured in the Gosund app. Again the instructions are pretty much clear. It did take me a few tries but understanding the logic behind it will help you be aware of what step you are in in the installation process Once Gosund app recognizes and can control the switch, you can go to alexa enable the gosund skill. It will scan for devices and add it.To install this switch one needs to first identify the 'Live' vs. 'Load' switch. In a stairway or a large room, three way switches are installed to turn light on/off from either end. One of these switches will take the live wire and the single pole double throw switch (3way switch) will connect the live wire to traveler 1 or traveler 2. These wires simply go the other switch. The center (pole) of the other switch will be connected to 'load' i.e. light bulb. Since only one side needs to be a wifi connected switch and it requires power for the electronics in it, all the time, that wifi switch needs Live and Neutral wires. So first determine which side of the room or stair has the live wire. To do this, you should use a volt meter. Live will always have 110 to 120V regardless of the switch positions. Here is where one has to be extra careful because if the circuit breaker is turned off first, you will not be able to test this. But once you determine this you should turn of the circuit breaker before you proceed. Second, look for a neutral wire (normally white) in that box. If not, you have to pull a wire from the bulb to the box so that it will be same circuit (in your breaker box). So now you have to connect the live (from the old switch usually screwed on with a black screw on the bottom) to the wifi switch and neutral to neutral. The other two wires are from the old switch go to traveler 1 and 2 and it does not matter which one goes into 1 or 2. I connected the green ground wire to the switch box since I know in my house the wiring is done with metal conduits and the boxes are properly grounded.Asking Alexa to turn it on or off is not only convenient but it will add to your safety if you are carrying a load of laundry to the basement as I do and want the light turned on. My switch is not installed at the very top where the door is to the basement, I have to step down first to reach the switch. So it is very much a safety enhancement for me.

Easy install and works great with Alexa
The best part about this is that you only really need to replace one of the 3 way switches, not both. Easy to install, clear instructions, and synced right up with the GoSund app and Alexa. Easy to customize in the app to name different locations/switches. The only problem I have with these is that the bottom hole isn't threaded to accept a normal plate and screw.

Smart life and allows me to use on 3 way
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love converting old switches to smart switches. With this 3 way I only have to use one smart switch and keep the other 3 way installed to convert the lighting to alexa controller. This brand never disappoints and keeps their firmware updated. My existing wiring has the 3 wires and ground so it was not difficult to coordinate which wire to the back of the switch. With the new smart life app you select the 2.4g WiFi network and both the smart life app and the alexa app will locate this switch during the pairing process. This is because I have already used the skill tuya smart life to my alexa account. I can now control this three switch using my voice or smart life app by setting Schedules to avoid having the kids leaving the lights on when they go to sleep.

Just Great
These work:-as one half of a 3 pole set up (2 switches, 1 smart, 1x3-pole dumb)-as 1/3 of a 4 pole set up (3 switches:1x4pole dumb, 1x3pole smart, 1x3pole dumb)All the switches in the loop(s) work as intended. The smart switches adjust to the position of all the other switches and function accordingly. These are just great. I add them in Smart home, and the Alexa app picks them up instantly.
