Yankee Candle Lily of The Valley Large Jar

This is the most beautiful yankee scent! Smells like a wedding bouquet

So this is on me. I didn't smell this in person until it came in the mail. While in the glass, it smells like lily of the valley, albeit a bit with a chemical aftertaste. However, when you light the candle the scent is horrific. It's something so saccharine sweet that it just made me severely nauseous. Now, my mom loved it (the gift was for her) but my dad and I couldn't stand to be within a ten-foot radius. After you put the candle out the stench linnnnnnnnnnngers. It's so sweet and it doesn't smell like the flowers at all. Major regret.
