This is the perfect knife for all things deer related. Bought this last Wed, by Sat had field dressed 1 deer and skinned and quartered 2. I only used this knife and a reciprocating saw. This short blade came razor sharp right out of the box. The full tang handle feels substantial in my hand and the slightly curved blade with with its fine point is perfect for working the smaller area's.. The all leather sheath is a great compliment to this excellent knife!

Old Timers haven't really changed in decades. Even moving to China didn't really change the product much. They've always been a budget knife that's all function, little form, no frills. I bought his knife to replace one like it, that I had & used for probably 20 years, but I lost it in a move. I used this new one to fillet a couple catfish the day after I received it, it was just like using my old knife, and sharp out of the box. The sheath is functional and form-fitting, though it's not an EDC knife, it's not meant to carry around all day. All in all, if you hunt or fish, $25 every 20 years for a decent knife is a pretty good deal, I think.

Recieced my knife in two days with the free shipping option (awesome). At first I thought that the knife looked a little small! Once I got it in my hands it felt solid and has a good handle that fits comfratable in my hand. I've pretty big hands so I was a bit skeptical. The Blade is pre-sharpened with a good edge on it, touched it up with the diamond sharpening rod and now it's ready to skin that deer in Oct. (haha hope so!). Will update if I get lucky!

Decent knife but steel is not the same as the originals. Much softer so needs honed regularly.

I love these knifes. Good price keeps a decent edge and easy to put an edge on it and keep it honed. These are perfect for field dressing if you have a separate gut hook. It's small size makes it nice. I really like the finger groove on the edge. Nice for skinning.

Very sharp and sturdy blade. The sheath strap that holds knife in was too short but I oiled it up and it loosened up enough to close it. I have this knifes big brother and both cut awesomely.

Knife is good but the strap on the sheath is too short for the snaps to line up and work so you can't secure it

The quality and the weight of this product was very good. My husband loves this knife. It’s worth the money.
