Has anyone found that the light bulb that comes with the lamp is a little lose in the socket after it’s screwed in? Is this normal?

Yes.. I just bought this lamp and the socket for the light bulb is loose. I even replaced the bulb and still loose and flickers. Not happy

Can the shade be replaced?

I do not think so. The lampshade is not standard in more than one way. It came in a roll, the two ends are attached together by velcro strips (Not sure how long it holds), and two flimsy thin rings supporting the shade open. The only way the shade is held in place is through the hole in the middle of the upper ring which goes over the socket (lamp holder) and is kept in place with a ring screwed onto the lamp holder. Frankly, I have not seen any lamp shade with that structure in several floor lamps or table lamps I have owned in the past 50 years!

What is the max wattage of the bulb that this lamp will take?

Hello, the product itself comes with a 9W LED bulb; if you want to replace the bulb, it is recommended that you replace the bulb with no more than 60W
