Great dealer only tool alternative
I bought this after ruining too many CV axle threads by just using an impact gun and not lifting the stake on the nut. Others in my shop do that too. The dealer required cape chisel was something like 10 times this price. For $10-15 this tool is great even if you only use it occationally. It will save you so much time and headache over using a cold chisel that doesn't fix correctly or using nothing at all.

Good for brass helicoils
Works great for breaking brass inserts, hit it at an angle, to tilt part of it up then hammer in under to break it. Perfect tool for the job.

Sizing is off
What I ordered was a 7 inch chisel ...what I received is the Lance of Archangel Michael, presumably to smite Lucifer and protect humanity from evil. Guess I'm a superhero now?

The bevel is all wrong
The bevel is all wrong. It has been ground at a 60 degrees angle to the bar instead of 90 degrees. How can you cut a flat bottomed slot with an angled blade.

Poor quality manufacturing
Both forging and grinding are far from straight. I’m perfectly capable of regrinding the tool but I could have just made one myself for the effort.
