To kill common household ants, simply place TERRO Liquid Ant Baits stations near indoor areas where ants are spotted. Ants enter the trap, consume the liquid ant bait and return to the nest where they pass on the bait to the rest of the colony. TERRO Liquid Ant Baits are specifically formulated to allow worker ants to consume the product and survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest and deliver a dose to the rest of the colony . The liquid ant bait stations prevent the bait from drying out and provide the ants with a continuous supply of liquid, day and night. Monitor the baits regularly for activity, but do not interfere with the ants or baits. Replace with additional baits when the first set is depleted. Depending on the size of the ant infestation, complete control may take up to two weeks.

Terro is the best brand for ant control
Easy to use. Effective. Have used Terro for ants at least half a dozen times (in different houses, different locations within house, different seasons) and it always gets the job done. Don't panic when more ants show at first- in 2-3 days they will begin to subside. If they don't, put another bait station done. Messy cleanup but gets the job done. Great value.

First Ant Bait That Works!
Tried other ant baits like those white ant hotels and the ants simply ignore them. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California like me, Terro Liquid Ant Killer worked like a charm. What worked for me was to pour a bit of the liquid ant bait so the ants get a whiff of the addicting food before placing the entire trap down. Eventually the ants will swarm the bait, bringing the goodies back to their home or simply drown and die in the wet substance. Terro Liquid Ant Killer significantly reduced the ant population close to my house. Every year, it's been a battle of these invading ants. Terro did the job!

Works in a dorm!
One of my friends was struggling with a really bad ant problem after rains and this worked great! It took some time for the ants to go away, and sometimes you'd still see one or two (which is why 4/5 stars) but overall got rid of most of them!I will add that the actual ant trap thing was really hard to open but once it was open it was completely hassle free. The formula inside did also leak onto the floor a little but it came right off when mopped. No pets so can't comment on safety or anything like that though.
