EastwoodBlack Rubberized Rust Encapsulator Quart Prevents Rust Corrosion Epoxy Fortified Low VOC Formula

I have not found a better rust maintenance item than this. Eastwood is the class of the field when it comes to rust treatment as well as bodywork products. Will buy again.

Looks great and easy to use.

Good stuff. I had repainted some suspension parts twice with Rust O Leum black. Lasted 3 months before rusting. Tried Rust Encapsulator in a brush on can. Worked better. This stuff sprayed on easier and added a thick coat of goo that has stopped all rust. Ask me again in a year.

I apply this to all my vechiles. Better than any rust proffer out in the market. Stays on well. Never an issue. Does not allow water yobget under it. Great job Eastwood. I show other people the results and they seem to be very impressed.

Automotive use. Inside the wheel wells of a 2005 F150. Followed instructions by using a wire brush inside the wheel wells then sprayed two coats of the Eastwood Rubberized coating and only time will tell but so far I’m impressed with the results.

On the picture with the truck, on the left is rubberized rust encapsulator matte black, I circled it in black so you can differentiate. You can see the light reflection in the finish, it came out gloss if not high gloss. The area that’s circled in yellow is matte, done years ago with a different product. The truck was cleared in a satin finish so this picture shows 3 different finishes which makes it easy to see the Eastwood product is gloss despite the can saying matte black.

Convenient if you don't want to have to put an encapsulator on first before undercoating. Finish is blotchy in some areas and not that pretty or even. Something like Boom Mat leaves a much more uniform finish, but you can't paint that right over rust.

I will try to use the can but never again. The smell is just awful so use in a very well ventilated room.
