Great Pistol Range Bag
This is a great range bag and can hold everything you would need for a trip to the range. Each compartment has a symbol based visual indicator, which makes it easy to access what you need quickly. Overall, I gave it 5 stars on Amazon, but would probably give it 4.5 stars if I had the option, due to some pet peeves. This, however, is the best compact range bag I've found period.Shipping: I purchased this backpack from Amazon (via Reds Gear). At the time of purchase this seller had a 98% rating. Shipping time was average (5-8 business days), and the packaging arrived in good condition.Currently stores:1 over-glasses protective goggles1 electronic ear protection1 Howard Leight QB1HYG plugs1 pair of shooting gloves1 kydex holster1 kydex mag pouch1 stainless steel assault stapler w/ high capacity magazine11 magazines300-500 rds of pistol ammo1 flashlight1 streamlight rail light2 Uniden small hand-held radios1 roll of target stickers (for plugging up holes)I have only one of the sleeves full, and partially filled the other two with mags. I could probably squeeze in a few more mags if I needed to. Overall the bag is around 70-80% full in the main compartments. As a side note, the sleeve pouches DO fit pistols w/ mounted lightsPros:- Very well constructed, high-denier nylon with DuPont Teflon treatment.- Comes with a rain-shield that deploys from a zippered-pouch near the top handle.- Locking zippers for main handgun compartment.- Semi-hard backing around the main handgun compartment.- Internal pouches are also well constructed-- no concerns about webbing or pouches ripping. Internal nylon is of high-quality construction.- Molle webbing and velcro for patches at the front.- High-quality heavy duty zippers, haven't run into any issues yet. Plastic buckles are also high quality.- Velcro loop for holding rolled up paper targets- Dedicated sleeves for holding up to three pistols (comes w/ the sleeves)Cons:- Pistol sleeves have some quality control issues; magazine loops are inconsistently sized and can cause magazines to be only loosely held (I'm going to give them a call to see if they're aware of this issue and willing to replace individual sleeves).- Sleeves have a padded pouch to place pistols, but they probably won't fit anything that's above average in size.- Shoulder adjustment straps are too short (the straps you pull down from near your clavicle)... it's clear this backpack wasn't designed w/ prolonged carrying in mind. This prevents you from being able to put all the weight on the hipbelt it comes with.** This bag IS made in China, but that shouldn't dissuade you from purchasing it. This product is an example of a superior product designed in the US, but manufactured in China.edit: I've had this bag for over a year now and it's still going strong. No frayed fabric or broken zippers. Everything is still working smoothly. This bag has now been through several shooting matches and two courses at a certain firearms training institute in Nevada. This is pretty much my go-to bag for lugging around my pistols and I definitely don't baby it.For cleaning, I recommend a damp paper towel and a vacuum.

Heavy Duty? Yes. High Quality? Yes. Well-Designed? Yes. Easy to Organize? Yes. Buy it? Yes.
This is a wonderfully designed range bag. I've owned several different styles of range bags over the years and most of them are just big, empty spaces or have a ton of pockets, some of which are obviously meant for magazines and others which don't seem to be made for anything useful.I checked out several different bags at a local store and the GPS bags stood out in every way. When I saw the visual ID system, I originally thought it seemed silly to tell the user where to put stuff. I mean, who needs hand-holding? Well, after a few seconds of giving it some thought, I realized that's *exactly* what I need.My other bag is very large and has one huge internal compartment which can be divided into smaller compartments with a couple of walls that attach to Velcro strips on the inside walls of the bag. Regardless of how I tried to organize my gear and firearms, it always ended up a jumbled mess. The Visual ID system solves that problem. I know what each pocket is meant for and can fill it appropriately. Believe it or not, that type of organizational system has helped me cut down on the amount of junk I take to the range, almost all of which I rarely, if ever, used. The construction is heavy-duty... it feels like it will last longer than I will. The stitching is solid, the webbing is thick and sturdy, the material is thick and tough... basically, it's built for abuse. The removable gun cases are just as well-built (I think a lot of manufacturers would skimp here) and will hold large-frame handguns. I personally have transported my Beretta 92 and a couple of 1911's with no problem. One complaint I've seen in these reviews is regarding not having enough padding on the straps, especially the waist strap. Honestly, there could be more. However, this is a range backpack - not a field backpack. How far are you really going to be lugging this thing? It's not designed to be a day pack. Having said that, it can carry a LOT of stuff and when it's full up with firearms, (especially) ammo, water and everything else, it gets heavy quick. If it's a sticking point for you, buying inexpensive wrap-around strap pads will fix the problem. And, the pack is so well designed, I personally think it's worth forgiving such a fixable flaw. The only complaint I personally have is there are only Visual ID pockets for hearing buds; not full-size ear protection. I use the Howard-Leight R-01526 electronic earmuff and I'd love for there to be a pocket on this pack that is specifically designed for it. There is so much room in the pack, this is hardly a problem; it's just me being a little OCD.PROS:- Solid, heavy-duty construction built to withstand pretty much whatever you can throw at it- Visual ID system is very useful - more useful than you'd think- MOLLE webbing is extremely well done- Plenty of room for just about anything you need- Removable gun cases are well-built and good quality- It looks really coolCONS- Strap padding could be thicker, but this is easily fixed with wrap-around strap pads- Visual ID pockets for earbuds only, not for earmuffs (this is the nit that I have picked... it's honestly just me whining)SUMMARYIf you're looking for a heavy-duty, high quality bag that is well-designed and easily organized, this is the one. You truly don't need to look any further.

Absolutes Top-Produkt!
