Brighter than I expected. A little more expensive compared to the multi element SMD type bulbs but the light output is much better and the colour is closed to the HID lamps. Most other LED wedge type bulbs are longer and/or bigger in diameter and may present a problem to fit into places but these bulbs are physically the same size as the conventional filament type bulbs they replace and will not present a problem. The only drawback is that they are not CANBUS and may trigger a light fail warning on some vehicles.

Not that bright or that good quality like other reviwers say but it is ok. Be aware, buy them and forget them until they show up in ur mail box.

Pity they are so expensive.

I resorted to buying these after purchasing one Sylvania LEDriving 168/194 bulb from my local Auto Zone and it becoming impossible to find a second. Auto Zone has stopped stocking the Sylvania version for some reason. I installed these in the license plate sockets of my 1998 Toyota Corolla and installed the Sylvania in my trunk. The two versions emit the same light. They are identical with the exception of their outer shape. The Sylvainia version is rounded and the Osram is flat on the top. The light output is crisp white. I am impressed.

Used as DRLs on 2006 Miata. Very bright, considerably more so than next best, Syvanias (1W vs .7W or .5W power). Not cheap, but in my case investment was worth it.

Installed these in my 2011 Subaru Outback in the composite headlamp assy to replace the incandesent bulbs. These bulbs to no replace the headlamps, but they replace the auxillary lighting that is installed and aide the Daytime Running Lamps. I got tired of the 'burned out' issue one one side or the other so these should be the last ones I install.
