Very decent tea!
When I received this tea, I was shocked at how large the bag was! I'm used to dehydrated loose leaf teas being very compact. Anyway, I am 91% happy with this purchase. The tea is not too weak in flavor or in caffeine. The color is a deep red-amber. I can get two brews out of a fairly small number of the leaves. I like the flavor. I has no sweetness that I can detect. The strongest taste is a toasted flavor. It's not bitter or unpleasant. I don't personally like black tea (I classify oolong as red tea.), and I would say this tastes a little closer to black tea than I would prefer, but not enough to make me regret buying it. It serves my purposes, and I would probably buy it again.

Indeed very flavotful
This is a very nice flavorful and unusual tea. It is essential to keep the temperature low (170F) and infusion time shots, as recommended (I would say 3') - this is enough for efficient extraction. Otherwise, it turns bitter. I recommend ~5g/250 ml

Summer Rose Oolong Tea is a tea that you can drink all day
I was introduced to the Rose Oolong flavor at a local Japanese Ramen restaurant. It absolutely captivated me! So I went on a hunt to find this tea so I can enjoy it at home also. This is close, but distinctly different than that tea I had that day. I know that is pretty irrelevant to a review. I needed to just make sure you all know that I was hunting for the perfect cup of tea, and this is pretty darn close! It has a stronger flavor than I was expecting, but that is it, this tea has SO much flavor! Some of the teas I have tried in my search are weak or they just taste bitter and harsh. This tea is so far removed from that. It is soft, flavorful and it does not leave a harsh aftertaste. I can drink this all day, and it invigorates me with every sip! The scent is soothing and very pleasant, and brings a smile to my face every time I open the cabinet I keep it in. While this is not the tea I drank in that restaurant, I am so happy I found it and can see myself drinking this every day for years to come!

Good tea, good value
Tastes good...if I wanted to be tea-snobby about it, it might lack a bit of subtle depth that more expensive teas have, but if it tastes very good. the classic 1 low-rounded teaspoon of tea, six oz. water @ 190F, steeped for 3 minutes - I get two cups from that teaspoon. I like my tea "mildy robust", but not over-the-top. If I leave the tea in for 5 minutes or longer on the first cup, I'll have to add a pinch of tea on the second cup. With 3-minute steeps, I get two. Will likely buy again

Excellent "green oolong" at an unbelievably affordable price.
If you've had some experience with Ti Kuan Yin Oolong (and other oolongs for that matter), you may know that there are different levels of oxidation to which the tea may be subjected which greatly determine the result of the tea's appearance, aroma and flavor. Oolongs with low oxidation tend to be more like green tea, while higher oxidation levels have an earthier flavor and appearance. This particular tea, I would say, is on the low side of the oxidation scale. It's appearance is quite green in color. The physical quality of this tea is outstanding. The leaves are nice, tightly rolled balls, which expand to ENORMOUS, full leaves. Make sure you have plenty of room in your tea-making vessel of choice, because the leaves need a ton of space to fully unfurl. I see little to no stems or dust in the package, which is a thick zip-top plastic bag that has plenty of "air cushion" sealed in to prevent damage to the tea. The aroma is fairly floral in nature (again, similar to green tea, in my opinion). The flavor is also somewhat similar to green tea, without the astringent nature that some greens tend to have, and a subtle amount of oolong earthiness (enough to know that it is, in fact, an oolong tea a not green). To be honest, I was hoping for a more oxidized oolong when I ordered this, but since I like green tea, too, I am actually really enjoying this tea. If you are looking for a stronger oolong flavor, you might want to pick something else. But, if you like the greener side of the oolong spectrum, this is an excellent tea. I can't emphasize just how pleased I am with the overall quality of the product at such a inexpensive price point. I will definitely be buying more tea from this supplier in the future. In fact, I'm already considering the Wuyuan Oolong from the same supplier, which appears to be a more oxidized variant.

Summer Rose: does not skimp on the roses!
I got the 1lb bag of the summer rose oolong tea, and I was surprised! I kind if expected this to really have a few roses per bag, like enough for maybe a couple buds per pot or something. This was, as you can see, not the case. It isn't a particularly powerful rose flavor, closer to a hint of it, but it is still rather good.My one warning for people who get this tea is that it will expand A LOT once you steep it. I put in a Tbsp into a smaller pot, and when the tea had fully saturated in water it was almost spilling out if the basket!I highly recommend this if you like oolong tea and slightly floral flavors.

Does not smell like Oolong
This is the worst of all OOlongs that I've drunk. It has a very strong flowery smell - which is not typical of theh oolong purchased from Taiwan. Also, seem to be a lot of sticks in this bag - previous oolongs have rehydrated to leafy teas and this looks like a bunch of twigs in my tea jar. Tea is drinkable, but won't order again.
