Dickensian Mice in Country Style DK - 4132 by Sirdar

Although I have managed to knit some of these mice,I do find it a very complicated pattern and very bitty,could be written better and an easier pattern i.e. some pieces done in one piece

I have some of these mice and wanted to knit some for my family. I was disappointed when I loked up the wool type used to find it was discontinued but substitutes are recommended online but don't look much like the original colour used for the body of the mice so I will search for something similar.

Just what I wanted. I acquired Dickensian mice years ago from a friend and wanted to knit some similar for my great-great niece as she had admired mine. The pattern is easy to follow.

Lovely pattern. Relatively easy to follow for a not so experienced knitter although I had to keep going over the making up part as it was all in one continuous narrative near the end and I personally would have found it easier if some of the sewing up instructions had been at the end of each component part. Have made one lady mouse already and she is really cute.
