SIMAXGlassware Simax square dish 1.6 l, one size, clear

Have not actually used, but seems to be good
I have not used the glass pan because I can't get the 3 dots of glue off the glass. They were used to hold thecardboard/pasteboard liner in the pan. I tried several things, but so far there is still some glue inside the pan. The glue seems similar to the glue that can be rubbed off when on paper. I was able to rub some into a ball and remove, but not all of it. I like that the glass is very clear and the handles are no too large. Update - I used the Goo Gone as suggested by Millvado and it worked, the glue is gone.

Borosilicate glasswear. What "Pyrex" used-to-be, but is NO longer.
Since borosilicate glasswear is THE TYPE TO BUY, this is a great value for the money. If you read the Reviews of current "Pyrex" Products, you'll see they went CHEAP, trying to survive on NAME VALUE alone. That tactic will only be a temporary situation . When you "value Engineer" you dismiss quality--as "Pyrex" has done. Simax has been in business about 100 years LONGER than makers of Pyrex.....and they will be around long after, now that Pyrex has suicided.Buy SIMAX, buy the BEST.

Like that this product is free of lead
I'm slowly switching all my kitchen products to borosilicate Glass so they do not have lead in them. This product and very happy with. I use it several times a week to bake in. It seems very durable, and it is just the perfect size to cook most products in.

Glass like the good ol days!
I purchased this mainly because it's made of borosilicate glass, not the cheap crap most Pyrex etc is made of today. I love the Simax brand; my only small beef is that I wish their glass products were a little heftier. This 1.5-quart square pan is the perfect size for cooking for one or two people. This is my second piece of Simax and I'm sure I'll be back for more.

Great for Casseroles & Lasagna
I needed a new square casserole baking dish. This item checked all my boxes. So Far, So Good!

Five Stars
It's hard to find baking pans that fit in my Cuisinart toaster-oven-broiler. This is just right for that.
