Great handset!
Great handset. Very pleased. Was easy to get all my apps from my previous phone on to the P40 Pro. Only one that was a little tricky was whats app backup messages. A quick Google on how to do it gave a few options. Battery life fantastic, camera and easy to use. I wasn't gone on the curved display at 1st, but after a few days use, it's fine to use. Very happy with my purchase and was made even better with it being a warehouse deal. Would highly recommend.

Good phone, but...
Phone itself works well, camera really impressive, just the only downside was that not making macro photos, previous versions had this functionality, and this doesn't. Also missing a lot of Google Play store, as not all apps available from Huawei.

Great Phone if you don't need all the Apps that are missing because of no Google services
This is a REALLY GREAT phone and I loved it until I realised that I would need to carry two phones around if I wanted online banking. My advice is to stick with the new edition P30 pro until Huawei come to an agreement with Donald Trump.

You will love it but hate it.
Thank you for the fast delivery and the case. To be honest, I love the phone. Even Without Google products which can be super frustrating. And it is such a new phone, getting any assistance online is difficult. The support centre is terrible. And, Blatently huawei do not care about UK customers. And, you cannot use your phone for payment. It is restricted in the UK. Some bank apps will not work. But, it is like driving an alfa romeo... The car is expensive and always breaks down, but you will always love an alfa romeo.

Fatally Flawed - Avoid
Let's start with the positives. This is absolutely the most gorgeous phone I've ever seen. The silver frost has a slightly blue tone, it's impossible to show how good this phone looks in a photo or video. Ok, that's about all for the positives. The elephant in the room, what none of the youtubers will tell you, is that this phone is impossible to live with. No Google services doesn't just mean no Play Store. Or no Gmail. Anyone who has been using Android in the UK for a while will find this simply frustrating to use. Even if you can get the apps you want (the Huawei app store is very thin on the ground) the chances are they still won't work properly. Use WhatsApp? Not in the app store. Managed to download it anyway? Well done. Where are your chat backups? Ah, stored in your Google Drive. So guess what... Your chat logs are gone. Use Twitter? OK, well don't expect your notifications to work. And as for the camera. Yes, it's good, but no reason on its own to buy this phone. I also have a Xiaomi Mi Note 10, which I was looking to upgrade for the P40 Pro. I went out for a walk and took 8 different photos with both phones to compare, and only when I took 10x zoom was the P40 Pro noticeably better. And seeing as the P40 Pro costs more than twice what the Note 10 costs, that's just not good enough - though probably more of a highlight of how good the Mi Note 10's camera is. To summarise, there is no good reason to buy this phone. The software experience is impossible to live with & the camera doesn't excel as much as I thought it would. It gets 2 stars because as a phone, as a simple piece of hardware, it's good. But, I honestly couldn't recommend this phone to anyone.
