Plum® Wooden Monkey Bars Stand-alone Climbing Frame

This is cheap rubbish. The timber is twisted and it doesn’t look that good. Wouldn’t buy anything from this supplier again.

We were looking for stand-alone monkey bars for our garden. Mainly for our daughters (11 and 13) to get some exercise during the lockdown and through their remote schooling schedule.These have proven to be an absolute hit. Quite a bit of physical effort in putting the unit together but the instructions are simple and clear. We have not installed the anchors as yet - note this is not recommended - but the structure seems stable enough without them. The girls are delighted to use the monkey bars and seem to spend all their spare time on them. Parents are very pleased - just what we were looking for. I like the product, we need it so that my daughter will be able to exercise her routine, but, I am deeply afraid that it wouldn't last for a long time. It seems... made from poor quality, or, not well engineered. I would think twice before buying it again.

Only 2 out of 3 parts have arrived for this. I have been chasing the 3rd part for 10days now. I have emailed PLUM on many occasions and haven’t had a reply!! I know things are difficult at the moment but there is no excuse for poor or no customer service!!

Just managed to get a joiner yesterday to build them 24th. Sadly some of the timber is twisted. So disappointed

Lovely frame and easy to put together by following the instructions. You will need good tools to assemble it. Hammer. Drill and some good screwdrivers. My children are 3 and 4 and loved it. Strong enough for children.
