Better than Before
I still have an old Granite Gear stuff sack. It is a tank. These are lighter. They are just as well-made. This is a great price for a pair. I'm tired of using ziplocs but I have to have to stop buying these! I am currently using these for my poncho liners and to help with organizing my packing. I have several of the GG sacks but needed a waterproof version. These use the tried and true method of rolling up the top into a handle that clicks together. They used lightweight clips so the weight penalty is low versus the utility factor. So glad I got so many.

Versatile packs
I have a few of these packs and use them a lot. I've recently travelled with my mother to a conference, and she's asked I order them for her two. They are great as suitcase organizers, and I usually have one extra for dirty clothes. They are also very handy in carry-on on long flights. I can pack snacks/earphones/Kindle/other random stuff in them and easily pull from the bag once on the plain. They are rather pricy, but the quality is high. The oldest once I have are about 7 years now. They've been through a lot of stretching and pulling, and they are still fully intact.Highly recommend!

One of the highest quality light weight dry bags I’ve seen
One of the highest quality light weight dry bags I’ve seen. Ive used this bag for almost 10 years for camping and backpacking around 40 countries in SEA and SA. I am extremely satisfied with this bag. It has never ripped or been punctured while many of my other bags have. This is a good one. I highly recommend it

Granite gear is a standup company
The original set of bags I received were defective, I went for a long day hike and it began pouring rain, and when I went to go into the dry sacks my items were pretty wet. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the seam taping was poorly done, with gaps allowing water to get in. The reason I am giving the sacks such a good review is that Granite Gear has great customer service. I emailed granite gear directly, explained the situation, sent pictures of the defective bags, and immediately received replacement bags 2 or 3 days later. New replacement bags work great, no leaking at all, I must've gotten a bad batch the first time. Overall a great experience with Granite Gear customer service.

my favorite...
I've been using Granite Gear Drysacks for about two years, and they are very effective at containing damp/wet items inside my backpack (think "tarp after dew or rain"). They do seep a bit when the moisture is excessive, but the outside of the bag is never what I would consider "wet". The weight is a bit more than ultrasil nylon, but the durability seems much better - an excellent compromise overall, and the product is still quite affordable.

2 weeks of waterproof, then failure!
The seam tape seperated completely within a month of use on a cycling trip. It kept the contents no drier than a paper bag thereafter.

Love the shape of this bag
I love the shape of this bag. It is more of an oval than a circle, making it better for packing shoes in along with clothing. We are going to get a second one. We haven't put the waterproofing to the test yet, but are hopeful since it seems like a high quality bag.
