Designed as an alternative to plastic covers for rockwool and other grow media blocks, Cocodan Coco-caps have many other uses. They also work great when placed around the base of a plant in a traditional garden to help prevent weed growth. Some gardeners have layered them in their pots when using "super soil" to create a buffer layer that also improves drainage and acts as a "strongpoint" were beneficial fungi and bacteria can colonize and prosper.
