This Bach windchime coincidentally arrived on my doorstep on March 21-- JS Bach's birthday!This windchime came very well wrapped in its package. It is very lightweight, compared to other windchimes I've owned-- but it seems to be made of high-quality wood and aluminum. I bought it to replace the crappy Walmart windchime I've had for over 10 years. As a professional musician, the first thing I noticed was the immaculate tuning. The chimes create a crystalline tone, very pure and lovely. I hope to buy another one from Woodstock with complementary tuning (their website gives suggestions of chimes that sound well together).This windchime DOES: Ring almost constantly-- even in the slightest breezes. For that reason, you may want to hang it in the backyard or a few paces away from the house. (Hanging it outside your bedroom window at night may or may not drive you batty).This windchime DOES NOT: play fugues on windy days. Disappointing. ;)

I LOVE these chimes! The tones are clear and sweet, and if you’re a person who’s sensitive to such things, the purity of C Major is gorgeous. I think of Bach every time I hear them.

Installed on our deck, great soft tone, chimes react in light breezes. Woodstock chimes never disappoint! worth it to spend a bit more. Purchased for Father's Day 2020.

I actually hang my windchimes indoors so I can ring and enjoy them inside (and because it's windy where we live so I don't want them clanging around loudly at night). These Chimes of Bach sound absolutely lovely - they are tuned to produce C major chord notes (C, E, G, C, E), so they are very happy sounding. If you go to Woodstock Chimes web site, chimes (dot) com, you can look up all the different chimes and here a clip of what they sound like, so check that out. At the time of my purchase, Amazon's price was much better than the manufacturer's price, however always be sure to do your research! It comes packaged very nicely in a sturdy box. Heartily recommend this one. Enjoy!

Beautiful clear and pleasant tones. I want to move it off the deck to a near by tree because we get a lot of wind and it is loud enough to be distracting. Update. So sad, we left this out since purchase and this year it's done. The top is warped badly and the other wood has lost most of it's finish. A couple of the strings broke. We bought a new one and will bring this one in over the winter.

This C Major Chord (C,E,G,C,E), which is exactly what I had been looking for, has a beautiful, bright and cheery sound. It is very well-made and beautiful! It rings very easily at the slightest breeze. It is tuned well to another, larger C Major 6/9 chime I also have in the yard. This has a lighter, more delicate sound, not intrusive!

I bought these chimes as a present for my wife, who is a professional musician. She is delighted with them. Our neighbors comment on how beautiful these chimes sound. Unlike other chimes which may become ignored background noise, when you hear these chimes you remark them every time.We've had the chimes for 10 months. They have endured some high winds without difficulty. They are well-made, durable, and beautifully tuned.I can give these my highest recommendation.

I have had many Woodstock Chimes over the years, probably 20 or so. Without a doubt this is one of the most melodious, soothing and lovely sounding ones. I love this chime. It is not very big but it just sounds so harmonious and beautiful. It is on my front porch and I have been enjoying it so much.

美しく余韻が残ります。パイプは以前に買った物よりかなり太いです。その分、音が響きますが、全く気にならない美しさです。昔、デパートで同じような太さのチャイムを見た時は、こんな大きいものと思いましたが、結局これに行き着きました。音階も流石バッハ！美しいです。毎日うっとりしてしまいます。心なしか、家族の表情も柔らかくなった感じが致します。お勧め出来ます！

ほっこりと落ち着く、とても素敵な音色です。ドアの開閉をするのが楽しみになりました。大きさはサイズ表示を見てわかっていましたが、パイプが思ってたより太くて少しびっくりしました(^^ゞその分を考慮して☆4つにしました。でもそんなマイナスを上回る良い音色なので万事OKです！

ドミソドミのきれいな明るい和音。朝に聴くとシャキッと目が覚めて気持ちが良いです。
