This is,one if my favorite recipe books ever. I have one other by thus author, and I love that,one as well. Big blow up photos, easy to understand. After reading,I can't wait to get in the kitchen!

Good little cookbook with great recipes inside.

I have made several of the recipes and they have been excellent.

The presentation is a bit twee but there are good recipes in here. It's a large collection. I bought this for my eccentric German friend who reads recipe books from cover to cover for fun. She is an excellent cook so I'm sure she will find things in here that pique her interest in all things culinary. Arrived in good time and as described. Pleased with purchase. Thanks.

This is a beautiful cookbook, with illustrations for every recipe, which I like. There is also some interesting information about Scotland and its culture. As a Scot however, I am not convinced that all the recipes are traditional Scottish ones, but nonetheless they are lovely receipts which I look forward to trying.

Not as good as I had hoped.

Fascinated with the history info in this book. Excellent photos and recipes. I highly recommend.
