Invaluable book
I just launched my band's debut single to streaming services and read the 1st edition multiple times before doing so. Absolutely essential reading for anyone who is distributing their music digitally. If you're here and curious - JUST PURCHASE THE BOOK - and you will see for yourself. Thank you, Emily White.

Simplicity is key and testimonials assist as well as data
The book lacks transparency on current business matters. It displays a few ideas but omits the solid punch to attract enthusiasts and music advents !

Engagingly written. Clear and readable, practical and executable suggestions.
The content didn’t disappoint.I’m impressed. It’s engagingly written. Very clear and readable.Logical and well-structured without an overflow of technical legalistic (or other) verbiage in the relevant sections.I can imagine it being helpful to beginners (and a handy aide-memoire to those with more experience) to understand the process of structuring a release from the time of thinking about recording to and including post-release actions.Whilst I think the author is US-based and writing from a US jurisdiction perspective much/most of the content applies wherever you are in the connected world. There are a couple of sections where (as UK-based) I’d question the suggestions given, but this may arise from a distinction between the US and UK perspectives. What I like most is that the author gives practical and executable suggestions for each of the steps required in the release process (and beyond) and doesn’t just talk concept. An all too rare commodity from writers or panellists at seminars and conferences.Big 👌 from me.
