Ciata Ceiling Medallion for Ceiling Light, 9-3/4-Inch Smooth White Finish Molded Plastic Ceiling Medallion for Light Fixtures and Ceiling Fans (2 Pack)

I ordered a package of 2 medallions for about 16$. They are 10" with a 4" hole. They are a shiny white plastic. I spray painted them in Heirloom white, satin. I read the other reviews about them being a tad small. I do agree, I think I would love them more if they were a few inches larger- But, I ordered two of them for a bathroom so overall I am happy with the size. (if I was going to put them in a larger room, like a bedroom or dining room, then definitely go bigger!) And for the price, they really are a great deal. I purchased two Gypsy color chandeliers in a size medium (5 arm) and that is what is shown in the picture.I used adhesive tape on the medallions to hold them in place, then I installed the chandeliers.

I spray painted some of these ORB and they took paint well. They really give your light fixtures a more finished look! I will never hang another fixture without using ceiling medallions. These are smaller so I would use a much bigger one for dining/ living room or for larger fixtures. I used mine in 2 pendant lights and a hallway fixture.

After reading reviews of these I was not sure what to expect. I was very surprised. They did not require anything to have a tight fit to the ceiling. I centered them under the light receptacle and tightened it down. The medallion pulled up nice and tight to the ceiling. This is NOT flimsy at all, very solid. It is paintable, however my wife liked them as they were. This was for craft room. On top of all that they actually look good. Will buy again if ever needed elsewhere.

so they worked, for what I needed, had to paint them to match and the damn hole was the same size as the mounting bracket, and it fell through had to glue in place then mount the bracket and light, with the added medallion had to get longer screws for the bracket to work with light. if your doing an install keep all that in mind a 10 minute job ended to be an hour and a trip to the hardware store.

I spray-painted them black then installed them on the ceiling in our closet (before the light fixtures). We had some old boob lights up first that left holes in the ceiling that these molds covered perfectly. I didn't have to use any additional adhesive, as the light fixtures were wide enough to hold the molds in place.

I painted these to match the rubbed bronze lights. It took 5 days for the paint to dry. I don't know why! But now the are installed and look great. worth the money

This piece worked out great to cover a gap left from the old light fixture. It is small and trim looking. I painted it the same color as the ceiling to minimize it a bit…happy with the results. Note: We didn’t have to use any adhesive to install

I needed a medallion to match another light in the same room, and these matched very well. The material was much thinner than I expected, but upon closer inspection, I realized the material is not flimsy. It was easy to install and looks great in the room.
