A Proper Srubag!! (A Scottish Cuppa...)
This tea is delicious and hits every slot for being a proper cuppa. I'm chuffed it was so good as I was beginning to tire of Tetley's.

Great tea.
Tho is good tea. Smells great. Tastes great.

Could be better, consider an alternative.
Fine if you like your tea a little smoother without a punch. Personally I feel the Thompson Irish Blend is a much better tea. Again.....just my opinion.

Good tea.
I tried this tea while searching for a tea that I would use on a regular basis. I is a nice tea. Strong enough and smooth enough to drink daily. Smells great steeping, good hot or cold. Good value for the money

Water Temp & Steep Time are Critical for this particular tea.
Wonderful bold malty flavor, BUT, with this particular Scottish Tea, water temp and steep time are Critical, or it will be bitter. (I found out the hard way). Thomas brand Scottish Tea is much more forgiving in regard to temperature and steep time, but THIS tea, while very good, will be bitter if you steep more than 4 minutes. 3 minutes works best for me, with water temp just before boiling (like the right coffee temp). Then itโs DELIGHTFUL! Especially for the price!

My Morning Pick
This blend is a great breakfast tea. The brew time is just like any other tea. A little local honey in the morning gives a little sweet to the boost to the taste.

Delicious, strong Scottish breakfast tea
I am not sure where the "not strong enough" reviews come from, because this is one of the strongest teas I've had (which I like as my wake up). I even add a little more water about half-way through my cup, usually. It is a maltier tea with quite a bit of flow-through (silt in your cup), so it's almost gritty, which I don't mind at all. The taste is rich & full without being bitter, and I leave my tea bag in my cup. I bought this tea in Scotland last year & savoured it, knowing I probably wouldn't find it here near Seattle. Luckily, Amazon carries it & the price isn't outrageous. The tea is perfect with our water here, which I'd say is neither soft nor hard, but very good (we do use a Brita filter to eliminate chlorine taste). One of my fave breakfast teas!
