Electric honey uncapping knife is used to be heated and easily cut wax cappings off from the frames for honey extraction. The frame lifter comes in a superior J hook shape to easily pry and pull frames out of the supers. The bee brush mainly used for cleaning bees on the attachment of comb.

Essential Bee Keeping Tools
The knife is great for uncapping frames. It does tend to get very hot and requires unplugging from time to time to keep from "burning" the wax during uncapping. I really like the J Hook - it is a much better tool than the standard hive tool for breaking frames loose in the hive. Brush is good for removing those bees from the frame when robbing.

Crappy Hot Knife Burned Our Honey
Hot knife awful. We plugged it in and it got tooooo hot. It burned our honey and we couldn't use it. If I needed to put some adapter on the cord, why wasn't it provided. Other tools are fine. You are better off buying those tools separately.

Knife spit flame out the handle and fried outlet
After 3rd use, it made a large popping sound and threw flame out the back of the handle.Fried the knife and my receptacle outlet that had to be replaced.Luckily I wasn't holding it at the time as it would have singed my forearm.DON'T BUY unless your up for the risk.

Great Uncappet
Great tool. You need to put a rheostat between the wall socket and uncapped to keep the uncapper at a lower temp to keep from burning the cappings and honey.
