These are easy to use

I used the tool for my yard and pruning tree limbs and it took quite a beating. However, the bottom part of the pruning shear broke off and therefore I had to send it back for a replacement. Overall, the pruning shear exceeded expectations and did the job.

The shears seem very sturdy, and the blade is sharp. The handles, when fully sprung open, are a little wide for my normal size hands. Therefore, I find myself choking down on the grips or not letting it open wide. The locking button is a little hard to operate with my fingers. It doesn't protrude much. When I use it, it's fine on drier branches or soft, thick stalks. When I use it on more flexible branches, I have a harder time getting it cut all the way through on one "bite". I remember a previous pair of anvil type shears that had a metal anvil surface with a groove in it for the blade to seat. This has a rubberized surface that the blade touches. I don't know if that's a factor with my difficulty cutting the tough, flexible branches. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. But, it's not the best pair of anvil shears I've used. I stick with the bypass shears for the flexible branches.

I do like these, but two issues: can be a nuisance to lock sometimes, and there's a wobble with the handles. The wobble makes them feel a bit inferior in quality but actually there's no negative side effect I can identify. Overall they are decent, worth the money - cut well, happy for using around the yard and garden beds.

Less than 30 days after I bought these the spring came off and I couldn't find it. I contacted Gonicc for a replacement spring. Just the spring. A few e-mails back and forth with their customer service and in 4 days I received a whole new pair of pruners, not just the spring. I am very impressed with whoever is running the show there because they really came through, over and above. And the pruners are excellent, too!

We love these pruning shears. We have had them for about 2 years, and just decided to get another pair. They work great for light gardening and getting the big hedges in the yard. We even used the first pair for snip off plastic pipe for the sprinklers. Great item and highly recommended!

i previously bought a fisker geared hand pruner and fell apart trying to cut a half inch shrub. i returned it and got this metal geared hand pruner. works like a charm. the metal gears cuts easily without ratcheting action. i hope this pruner will last me a lifetime. by the way now all my garden tools have metal gears. the hand pruner, the shears and the lopper.

Bought it for my indoor plants propagation, it’s sturdy n giving smooth cut for rubber plants stems. Not sure about interm of value of money , its prime free shipping n I got it shipped at my house.
