It is a first rate , fairly heavy duty device , it does a very good job too, can feel a little heavy after prolonged use , but you won't get a better , stronger Strimmer for the price in my view 👍

I found the power chord way too short but am lucky I had several extension leads and electric point options but beware if you don't. Also found the cutting chord reels a bit fiddly, finally did it but was by pure luck. Will look this up on youtube how to replace the chord as it wasn't obvious to me. I bought this strimmer because my lawn has gone mad and every weekend it rains so its 'long' overdue (pardon the pun) and my regular mower wouldn't even touch it. Ended up strimming the whole lawn back and running the mower over quickly to finish. It cut well and did the job, glad I got it as think I will use it often. Also made light work of weeds growing through the patio. I would recommend if using for a long session to just give it and yourself a break ever so often so you don't risk burning it out.

Had a Flymo but the guard would fall off when i cut round a tree this one is screwed on. The Bosch i could not complete the cutting as the battery would run out of power. This one is not as noisy as they led me to believe. a strong a sturdy construction with a 2 year guarantee.I have stopped buy brand leaders and prefer to try makes i have not previously heard of. I have a UlePhone smartphone, my MP3 is Houmi now this Blue Ridge strimmer. comes in a plain cardboard box so not wasting money and packaging and only £64

Amazing compared to others I’ve had in the past, nice and light so your back lasts a bit longer, the angle cutting though is the way toward, was very happy with the price too.

After 4 uses it wouldn't stop smoking, the vents were clear so wasn't that. When pressing the trigger there was loads of sparks on the inside you could visually see.It was powerful and good for first 3 uses, although heavier than most leading it to make your arm a little tense for a day or 2 after.

PROS• Self adjusting strimmer line. Never seen this before and is a real time saver.• PowerfulCONS• Heavy. The wife was struggling almost straight away as we have large front and back gardens• The cord is not long at all• Not forgiving if you slip, and because of the weight it’s hard to keep it straight for a reasonable time.• Has no child safety features, which I thought was a standard feature on mowers / strimmers? Concerning. Surely it is not hard to add a twin button or twist ON feature?Overall not that impressed, other than the self adjusting line which is probably the best thing about it.

Perfectly fine but STRIMMER LINES not easily available and where they are are NOT of the best quality and seem to me relatively expensive so I would seriously suggest that you learn to RE-WIND your own SPOOLS where possible. THere are plenty od U-TUBE instructions ..

I bought this to replace my aging Bosch strimmer. It ripped through the hedges and grass in no time. I am very pleased with it. It's not very light but it does the job very well.
