Credit where it's due.
I'm part of the management team for a 9 story condo in FL. We used these as emergency lighting during a two day electrical outage due to a system upgrade that put our elevators out of service and killed power to our stairway lights, lobby, restrooms, etc. They worked great! We had residents compliment us on how well they performed. Two on each stair landing, three in rooms without windows and we got through the project without problems. We're keeping them on hand for future use. Only minor issue is they don't adhere well to concrete block walls, but stick 'em up on something else and you're good.

Crazy Maybe, But Happy
I don't like turning light switches on and off. So I'm a fan of these motion sensor lights. I use them in my kitchen, above my dogs' water bowl (it is under a low counter), above my washing machine, in a closet, and in a hall way. I do go through a lot of AAA batteries (I should buy stock?), but it is worth it to me. (I do have a few plug-in types also, but these will work even when the power goes off.)

Pretty Good for the Price
This LED light is perfect as a nightlight. The motion sensor is excellent, and the day-night sensor works flawlessly. The magnetic wall strip makes removing it to change batteries a snap. The only negative comment is that the battery cover is flimsy, tending to break prematurely. Depending upon a number of factors, the batteries can run down quickly. Best to use Lithium batteries.

Too sensitive, and hard on batteries
The motion sensor on these is hella sensitive. I've got it mounted about chest high under the cabinet and It will come on when I'm clear across the kitchen. I put a small piece of white duct tape hanging down in front of the sensor which helps quite a bit but looks ridiculous. Due to the sensitivity I'm having to change the batteries like every 2 weeks and that's just with 1 person in the house who doesn't go in the kitchen that often. In a busier house I couldn't even imagine dealing with them. One failed after just a month or two of use. Easy to swap in another one thanks to the handy magnetic mount. Maybe that's why they give you 3 lights. Batteries in there seem rather loose so maybe it's just a contact issue. Shaking them causes the light to flicker. There's absolutely no voltage regulation and no low voltage cutout. This means the light get dimmer and dimmer the lower the batteries get. (I would assume it also means your light is FAR DIMMER from day 1 with rechargeables.) Unfortunately it also means that the thing keeps trying to suck juice out of the batteries well after they are "dead". I let mine get too low once and left it for a week and the thing destroyed one of my brand new rechargeable Eneloops. Not happy about that. Now I have to set reminders to change the batteries every 2 weeks, and this is becoming a chore. Next time I buy an undercabinet light it will be AA powered rather than AAA for longer life. All this fuss just isn't worth it. For the price I shouldn't complain too much but even if they were free it's too much work.

Total Useless for Under Kitchen Cabinet Lighting - Drains Batteries Quickly
I should have read the entire product description. Note the warning "WORKS IN THE DARK ONLY".I bought these for under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen. We have been using rechargeable lights, and while they work great, the rechargeable batteries have a limited lifetime and we keeping have to buying new ones and take the old ones to recycling. So I thought I would try non-rechargeable lights.Pros: 1) easy to use. That's the only "pro"Cons:1) WORKS IN THE DARK ONLY! Now who enters a kitchen in total darkness? The sole purpose of under-cabinet lighting is to illuminate the countertops, as they are in the shadow of the light coming from ceiling-mounted fixtures. Hard to believe but you really have to turn off the kitchen lights for these to work.2) very dim light! The photo shows one of our rechargeable lights (the bright one in the photo) alongside the VYANLIGHT3) very poor motion sensor. I have to wave my hand under the cabinet to get the light to come on. So I guess I am supposed to stumble into a dark kitchen, and wave my hand under the cabinet to get a couple of lumens of light? And I did not run these test with the 2 lights mounted side-by-side. That was staged for the photo.NOTE!! The label on the plastic wrap (see second photo) has another warning that is not listed here on Amazon. It states “Install light so the sensor is facing in the general direction of motion”. OK – so they want me to install under-cabinet lighting by sticking their sticky pad to the wall (which will probably remove paint if I ever try to remove the sticky pad). The rechargeable lights we have sense motion when you’re about 4 feet away, in a lighted room, come on nice and bright, and they are stuck under the cabinets where the are not visible. I probably can’t name the product, but the first letter is “R” and they are described as “Stick-on Anywhere Portable Little Light”. I will be ordering more of them (here on Amazon).*** Update - I installed one of them in a walk-in closet which doubles as a medicine cabinet. This closet has small glass block windows to let in the daylight. So the LED light would only get triggered when dark and motion is sensed, which might be an average of one brief visit per day. The 4 AAA batteries were completely dead in about 2 weeks. Amazon should stop selling this product.

Cabinet motion sensor lights
These are bright and turn on when they sense motion. I know they are advertised for cabinetry but I have been using them other places too.
