Truly opened up the Tone number between one and 10 compared to the original pots in the guitar. I will only use this brand going forward.

I purchased these components after I rewired my homemade guitar 3 times just to find that my former too good to be true priced Pots and caps which were too good to be true were crap. I rated those parts a one star. Never order 4 pots and 2 - 500 K ohm caps for $9, they won't work. These are sturdy parts and were excellent. 0 noise on a well shielded instruments. I couldn't be happier sliding and gliding over the strings as my amp is pumping out the notes in crisp clear intonation.

I just replaced my old pots from an ancient intermark jaguar and needless to say it was a rats nests. After a Frugal attempt to get them to fit into the body, I decided to just dremel out a bit of the body near the output jack.Edit: All wired up the body is a bit suspect(doesnt sit flush) so in frustration I just said &#$^ with it and formed the the bridge, did the 6 strings 6 screw method (please for the love of god dont do this on your American Strat,) but walah! sits a bit funny but tone is 8/10 and stays sharper than a soprano sax! so I gotta say these were a great buy!

These are great smooth pots. Very precise. My kit advertised a 4 pot kit with orange drop caps and the normal locknuts and washers….. I only received the pots lol. Had a few washers laying around so at least I could wire them for volume…. Maybe eventually the seller will come correct and send the rest (khc shop) I was looking forward to the orange drop tone control sound which I’ve never had on any of my guitars….. maybe one day. Giving this guitar to family member as a Xmas gift is not possible now.

Needed the long shaft so, yay.They turn VERY easy, and are a little lightweight. That being said they sound fine and have survived 2 weeks of home practice and one gig so far.

I have a 1980 black Gibson Les Paul Deluxe that I really like but the pots have become tired, noisy and hard to turn.I ordered this set to replace the whole control section in one swoop. WOW, what an improvement. The pots are easy to turn, no noise and the included caps sound excellent.Exactly what I was looking for. Nobody but Amazon has this online that I could find. Very happy. Will use this again in another old Gibson I'm working on.Good music to all!

Capacitors are huge and I wound up not using them. To be fair, caps are pictured next to pots and care clearly described as 400v and as such are perfectly servicable. Pots measured 441,446,464,496. Back to the cap. If I were going to put a pot/cap package together of what is most probably going to be used on a guitar, I would have used the smaller 100v or 200v caps. I value having more room to work in the guitar cavity. I gave it three stars not because its bad, but because 3 stars is average and that describes this package deal perfectly.
