I read the other reviews but was stip a bit sceptical. The reason for looking at this is because Covid-19 restrictions mean I have been working from home and tied to my desk for very long hours (without the usual travel or walking around an office). I've been getting a bit of a dead leg from a pressure point on one thigh and this has bothered me at night. Concerned about DVT, I've changed my desk chair - and (after much research) ordered one of these. It really is very good - genuinely far better than I expected. I have my feet (in socks) on it (no slippers or shoes). My feet already touch the ground fine, but raising the legs has really helped reduce pressure on my thigh (at the edge of the chair). I don't use this all the time - but by using it on/off gives variation to my sitting position. My basic research (before buying) also revealed that a soft footrest (as opposed to a hard step version) is far better for addressing the pressure point problem I had. I'm a 'manly guy' (giggles), but even I can tell that the 'give' and softness (combined with varying the leg position) is really very good for me. No more dead legs or pressure points.

Excellent buy. Exactly as advertised. I was a bit concerned reading some reviews about quality. But the product is brilliant. As you can see from the pictures, it is not just an excellent footrest for work chair but works well with the sofa too. I just store it away on my mesh chair and it looks the part. Highly recommended.

I normally use a tilted plastic flat footrest at work.This one is way more comfortable and doesn't make clacky noises all the time and fits under my home desk better.Has allowed me to get better posture, and reduced back pain in just a few days.I'm getting one of these for my real office when I go back.

This product is described as having two optional cushions. You get the main top curved pillow and one optional cushion.The product arrived flat and compact. You let it rest for a while to reflate itself. Even once fully flushed and regulated it isn't as high or firm as the images show.It is soft and sinks so it's not ideal as an ergonomic foot rest. You can use it for slight elevation only and it will sink lower.I found it completely unfit for purpose because the description and images were false.This is the only product I have ever returned on Amazon.

Product looks nice and I like that you can flip it over but the foam is not firm at all so as soon as you sit forward on your chair your feet sink right into it until you're about an inch off the floor, pretty much defeating the purpose of having a foot rest at all.Very disappointing for the price, I got this to help my desk position with working from home and feel like i've just wasted £30.

This is the kind of product that, after a few months, is going to look malformed and dirty. In fact, the product arrives tightly rolled up in a smelly vacuum-sealed bag, meaning you're expected to air the product out for half a day.The product comes with a note explaining the smell and packaging, but this should be disclosed before asking customers to part with their money. Moreover, the product I received hasn't gained a strong shape since being removed from the tight packaging a few days ago.

Got to say I’m really disappointed. The images made the product appear as though the foot support was fairly firm.... but soft enough to feel comfortable.With a light press of the hand on the flat side, you can see it doesn’t really take much weight to flatten the foam/sponge. As soon as I put any foot weight on it, it’s going to sink... thinking a couple of pillows would have been better.It would have a more suitable price mark of around £15 but at £36 ... I’m thinking I might try cheaper alternatives.As a positive it is quite long so able to get both feet on.

I was hesitant to purchase as it seemed quite expensive and I'm always wary of amazon sellers. I was swayed by the height adjustable feature so I went for it and I'm glad I did. It is a quality product, very comfortable and sturdy. I mainly use it at my desk but often grab it to use while sat on the sofa. My partner sometimes borrows it too so I can imagine I'll end up buying a 2nd soon!
