I used it for cutting out a lot of small squares. The easy to read numbers and lines made the job go faster and more accurately.

Great little tool, easy to read, not confusing like some others.

Quilters can never have too many rulers! This one is the size of a common smaller block, so it makes squaring up much easier. The markings are clear, and the ruler has a good thickness to it for rotary cutting.

If you are starting quilting (with squares in this case) it is much better to ensure that the squares are measured accurately so that you can cut them out more easily so that you can concentrate of the material/design of the finished article, which of course is the whole point.This square is a really useful aid.It is great for square blocks up to 6 inches in old money (15.24cms) and that includes a quarter of an inch seam allowance. (6.35cms)It saves you time by not having to constantly turn the ruler which you would have to use instead and lets you concentrate on the more fun stuff.If you have a rotary cutter then this is the ideal partner in crime.The measurements are in good old, user friendly inches so this may mean that you will have to get the calculator out as material is sold in metres!The template is clearly marked out, yet see through letting you see the material underneath and thus giving you control about when to cut out, which pattern is best and so on.Brilliant.PS.A few months down the line and my wife still believes this to be one of the most useful devices she has got for quilting.Simply put it is standing the test of time and is still in good condition despite daily use.Robust is the word.

Was very apprehensive abought buying this ruler and looked at many different ones before choosing it. It's absolutely brilliant for my sewing projects. The marking are extremely clear and really easy to read, especially when on the cutting mat. Actually going to see if I can get it in a longe version. Love it.

I decided to try out this template as I wanted to see what all the fuss was about quilting. I love this template it was so nice to use when cutting my material up and certainly save me lots of time marking out the squares on the material with a ruler and cutting them out.

I'm new to patchwork and it's so easy to use

Learning to quilt and needed this ruler for a pattern. Love that it has a 1/4 inch seam allowance unlike some other quilting rulers out there.
