Excellent
Just the food department mouse is not able to get to it, and once trapped inside will die if you don't check it every day for the mouse. I would the food on the trap itself, not too much so none of it goes under the trap that it might stop the trap from springing the trap door from shutting the mouse in.

good idea to add extra food inside trap
can't complain - night one and 1 mouse caught, one trap had obviously had a mouse in it but it did not activate so next time I would add a small amount of treat on the trigger plate too so mouse sits on it for longer - tried 4 different foods - bird seed was the successful trap - not sure because of location or because of the treat inside. So 1 down - who knows how many to go. Released a beautiful looing field mouse a drive away in middle of the countryside away from houses

They dont last
I love that i dont have to harm the creatures. But ive had to throw 3 traps away as they either wont close when activated, or won't stay open. Expensive to throw away.

Great design, the mice love it, it works!
Set this up yesterday evening, in the place where I've seen two little field mice running along the outside of the conservatory the past couple of weeks. I followed a tip about using gloves so you don't get your scent on it, and I put some sunflower kernels in it. Got up this morning to find one mouse inside. Set him free in a field, reset the trap about 9am, by 10am, the other mouse was in there, I couldn't believe it!. Set him free the same place as the first, so hopefully they will be reunited!

A nice modern trap.
The first humane trap I have ever used.My cat brought in a tiny shrew that was running around the house.Bought these and placed then round the rooms. They are easy to set and look very clean and unobtrusive. Can't comment on effectiveness as the cat caught it and took it outside again!!Even so I am very happy to have them for next time.Recommended.

Worked well
Found easy to use. Had an unwelcome visitor after door left open on sunny day. He chewed my dog's chew so was unpopular! Put a dog treat in as bait and on 2nd evening heard trap shut mr mouse trapped nicely. Picked up and carried him away from house and released. He didn't come back. Just a tip trap isn't waterproof so have a wad of kitchen roll ready when you puck up trap as mice pee alot!

It worked
These mouse traps (4 in total) are very easy to use. I used one of them and it worked very well as I was able to catch a little field mouse within 12 hours in my garage that had been living there for the past few days. I set the trap up with a bit of Brie cheese after work in the afternoon and have myself a mouse in the morning.

Disappointing at first but follow the peanut butter advice and they work
I'm starting to think the only way this trap will catch a mouse is when the mice have fed themselves so freely on my bait that they get wedged in it on account of being obese. I have had to file the door to make the release more sensitive but still my currents disappear without any trace of the thief. I really liked the look of these traps and they seem very robust.....but they dont seem to catch many mice. Actually I need to amend my review. One week later I feel my criticism was a bit harsh....if you do as they suggest and use peanut butter they do work.
