I usually love Alaffia products, but this shampoo and conditioner set did not work for my hair (dry scalp, thick hair, wavy)-regardless of how thoroughly I tried to rinse the product out, it left a residue in my hair until I used a clarifying shampoo to remove it. I do not have the most powerful showerhead, but I have never had this issue with other hair cleansing products. Also, the smell is pretty unappealing unless you love a really strong lavender scent that does not dissipate for several hours after shampooing and conditioning. Overally, would not recommend due to the way the product built up in my hair, and due to the overpowering scent.

Smells great but does not lather well. My hair never feel left clean after I use it. But my daughter loves it and uses it regularly. Her her smells great and looks beautiful.

No more nasty chemicals or dry/flaky scalp. Awesome deal for these here on Amazon. Will be purchasing again.

I originally bought this product on a whim due to the scent and after using it for months I gotta say, this product is amazing!!! My hair was dry and lifeless before but now it is so much healthier even the hair dresser complimented it. I have been using it for almost 7 months and still have not finished the bottle yet. If you have dry skin as well I would highly recommend getting tge body wash as well.
