Great Book
Once again, Bill Johnson has hit the nail on the head. This message must get out to the Body of Christ. The church must stop playing defense and get on offense so we can bring about all that God desires in our times.

greatest promotion ever experienced by humanity
agreeing with the reviewer who needs to read the book more than once to absorb the wisdom--there are plenty of crunchy nuggets.one crux of this book is represented by the phrase "the greatest promotion ever experienced by humanity" which has to do with John 15:15, where Jesus shifts from regarding His disciples as mere bondservants to relating with them as friends. through such a spiritual paradigm shift, believers receive "access to the secrets in the heart of God." so, just as much as a promotion, it represents an embrace--a welcome to the eternal family.intimacy with God means that we work with God from within the presence of God, instead of working for God like some sort of employee--or an outsider who is too concerned about upsetting that divine being poised with a thunderbolt.in a true godly relationship, our thoughts and desires become His. in a thought stream that grows more and more God-conscious than self-conscious. until self fully surrenders to the image of Christ, and the heart leaps out of the chest to please the Father. the optimized Christian life operates within a godly relationship that transcends all of the human relationships around us. then one day, within the blink of an eye, our relationship with God will flash into glorious everlasting fullness.here's a detour question:why does the frivolous exaltation of gender in the battle of the sexes still continue today? if every man and woman consistently considered one another based solely on spiritual potential--instead of fading physicalities--gender friction would be eliminated. because we absorbed enough wisdom about the unshakable heaven, and the indestructable resurrected body to get past statements like, "men may be stronger, but women are smarter", which actually has more to do with faithlessness than flesh. from the perspective of our unwinding chromosomes, we need to maintain full awareness of the fact that the potential of the spirit defies comparison to aging flesh.

The Future is NOW
When we receive God’s revelation we become out of synch with the times in which we live, and that produces a tension between what will be and what is. That’s the purpose of vision: a dream embraced and truly believed in becomes a picture so powerful that we have no choice but to make it happen, now.Bill has been ahead of his time for years, but he never lets go of the vision. That’s the role of a true leader: to make a future state so real and desirable that we finally let go of our fear of dashed hopes and jump all in to make it happen. We overcome our disbelief. The dream become vision awakes us from our slumber and makes the status quo intolerable. May God bring the promise of tomorrow today for all who read this book!

Time to Rise
A powerful exhortation to realize all that we are to step into. Partnering with God and stepping into the inheritance He has will cause the promises He has for nations and peoples to come to pass. Not one thing can separate us from His love, His love for people and nations. Grabbing these truths and staying hungry !

This book is amazing. Bill Johnson is so wise
This book is amazing. Bill Johnson is so wise, a book could be written on simple sentences he uses. When listening to him speak or reading this book, I often have to pause and really reflect on what he says/writes because it is so deep and insightful. The book really challenged my perspective as a believer that maybe, just maybe, I am settling for a mediocre life and wandering around “the wilderness” longer than I have to by not dreaming big dreams with God. I’ve purchased it for my pastor, a few good friends and some family members. I would highly recommend this book to anyone whose faith feels mediocre or anyone wondering if we are just supposed to float through life as best we can and we get no reward until heaven. This will challenge your thinking and encourage deep growth!
