1st Choice- 5X Necklace Magnifier 1-3/4" Glass Lens 36" Silver Chrome Chain, Nice Gift for Parents

I was in need of a lens during writing sessions and thought I'd try this one. The lens frame is not the greatest quality, but it seems sturdy and the glass itself is unflawed and magnifies well. The 36" chain is plated, so I imagine that the silver will not last forever, but for now it is shiny and durable. I did not pay a great deal for the lens, so I am satisfied with the quality. It has served its function as I had hoped.

Very handy and it even looks nice. I bought it to take to the store so I can read small print. Well worth such a reasonable cost .

Three stars because the item was not what I expected. Nice to have but you have to strain to get focused.

The chain broke with a couple of days. If the chain is important to you then don't buy this.

This monocle cannot be worn like the monopoly man. This monocle is simply a magnifying glass on a chain in the shape of a monocle.

I wear this thing all the time. This is great for when I don't have my regular glasses-with-me. I've had it a few weeks. The chain and frame are fairly heavy and seem durable and reasonably scratch-resistant. Looking at fine print, the letters I see are well focused across the entire diameter. (Cheapy lenses tend to center the focus).Hey, not bad for seven bucks! I'm impressed!
