Bambino Version 2' Stainless Steel Japanese Automatic / Hand-Winding Dress Watch

Solid construction: There is weight to this watch. Not too heavy, just solidly built. It does not feel cheap on your arm, it feels like quality. The strap is a bit stiff fresh out the box, hit it with some leather conditioner, and it softens right up. Accuracy: looks to be running about 8 seconds a day fast, based on syncing up with my computer clock. Internet says 10 seconds a day or less is acceptable. I am good with it. Good looks: I wear this watch at work daily, and often receive compliments on it. I wear my watch and my wedding ring, that's it. This watch sets off any outfit I wear. To be honest, having a nice watch on your arm just feels better than a cheap plastic watch. This is my first Orient brand watch, I will be adding others down the road. I feel like the quality is high enough that I will be passing one down to each of my sons. I am really pleased with the purchase of this watch. I have my eye on the Green Kamasu for my next acquisition!

Like my other Orient watches, this one is a true bargain. The dial, hands, case, and other details are all much higher-grade than you'd expect for the price point. The case is slender, and the domed crystal allows light in from the perimeter as well as the top, bringing out a lot of detail in the beautiful dial. The blue hands really pop in a subtle but noticeable way. The strap is nice-looking but initially stiff and uncomfortable. The buckle is nice, but I think I'll find a third-party strap or bracelet to go with it that's a bit more in keeping with the look and feel of the watch. I'm a big fan of Orient and this watch continues that trend.

Bought this watch quite by accident (we've all been there) and totally did not plan on keeping it. After I tossed it on a different strap I had laying around, it's a keeper. Sure, it's a dress watch but with a simple strap change, it can be dressed down to fit any occasion. It's nice and thin, as it should be unlike a Seiko Presage. Seems to keep good time but it's an automatic...if you want absolute precision you're not buying an automatic. The 21mm lug width is a bit of a bummer but a 22mm soft leather strap can be mushed on to it. In my case, a 20mm canvas one fits just fine without too much of a gap. Just be sure to use the factory spring bars if you're going down a size. All in all, it's a beautiful bargain and I wish I'd added it to my collection sooner.

Impressed for the price. Has a retro dress watch look. Running about +15 seconds a day fast. Excellent for mechanical watches. Would have preferred 38mm for my small wrist but light and thin is ok. Easy to read. Band is suitable style but a bit too shiny and stiff.

So far it seems like a well built, good looking, and stylish timepiece. The color is complimentary with all wardrobes.

Nice presentation box, the leather band luxury appealing and thick but comfortable. Stitching and quality is definitely there. Face attractive and the gold very eye catching. I've been wearing it and is keeping time. This watch has a very antique but luxury look to it. All the face markings and hands easy to read. The date also easy to read. Fits very well for being a 40mm. I'm usually a 42mm or bigger, but this fits well. Overall, I'm liking this watch and this may not be the only one I get. Btw... I do own Seiko, Movado, Raymond Weil, Omega and Rolex.

I love it. Looks beautiful although I think I'm gonna change the strap it's too dark and shining. Great purchase for the price.

Bambino clássico, com numerais romanos. Caixa bem acabada e mostrador muito bonito. R$ 1.790, preço melhor do que qualquer outra loja no Brasil. Se os preços continuarem assim, com os demais bambino, vou ter uma coleção interessante. Apesar de não ser o modelo de 38mm, ficou muito bem no pulso.

Gives more value to money paid. Great entry level automatic. Get hold of it before production halts. Its a classic affordable dress watch. Japanese craftmanship 😍. Hacking & hand winding makes it more desirable, these are the features unheard for an entry level automatic watch!!!
