Fantastic, easy to use. Not too bright so might be an issue for others. Have them a few years & still not replaced

This smart light bulb has been a fantastic addition to my home. The ability to control it directly from my phone is incredibly convenient, allowing me to adjust the brightness and change colors with ease. Added the bulbs 1 at a time so they could be renamed and identified easily. Using them with Echo Show 10, but had to download the smart life app first and then connect them to Alexa. Initially the app didn't find them but this was because I didn't have the bulbs in 'pairing mode'. To put them in pairing mode, switch on and off 3 times (2-4 seconds each on and off), the lights then start flashing. As soon as the app found them and I connected to Wi-Fi, Alexa announced that they were added. I then asked Alexa to add them to the group 'living room' and was able to quickly set a routine up. Have tried voice control for colour changes and to change brightness (asked Alexa to turn brightness to 50% and it worked fine. The app gives more control and can change both brightness and contrast. I tried to change contrast through voice control but Alexa said she wasn't sure what I wanted and to change brightness with the slider in the Alexa app. These were the first bulbs I added to Alexa - it's possible that I can do more with voice control and I just need to learn how to do it.

Astonishing bulbs. Firstly, after pairing, they connected automatically to Alexa - I didn’t have to do anything. They were therefore voice activated immediately after pairing. The whites are very bright if you want of very warm if you want. Also, millions of colour options and scene modes etc. One thing. I had a issue pairing them to Wi-Fi initially. I’m no techie, so I didn’t get this at first but a bit of Googling helped. They need 2.4 Ghz to pair and my Virgin router uses a mixture of 2.4 and 5 (so I found out when I googled it). If you router is 5Ghz, you need to switch it to 2.4 or if it uses both, as mine does, you need to switch off the 5Ghz and run on 2.4 GHz only. Once paired, you can switch back on the 5 GHz, which I recommend as speeds are faster with this. As I said, it’s really not that difficult, all you need to do is to access your router via your computer, phone etc (easy to find out how on Google), log in by using the serial number on your router, go to advanced settings and change the GHz 2.4. If your router is currently set to 2.4, then pairing and set-up is a total doddle. Otherwise, these bulbs are sensational for the price. I’ve only had them a day so let’s see how they last, but I’ve already ordered more. I hope this helps.

I bought this bulb to be able to connect it to my Amazon Alexa products to switch the light off and on without having to go to the lamp itself! It was simple to connect - PROVIDED - you set your Internet hub to the 2.5ghz setting! It will NOT connect on the newer 5G setting. Once active, the bulb can be recognised easily in the Alexa app. Useful for switching the lamp on/off whilst away from home. The colour feature is nice - but not what i bought it for but for music and ambience, you can choose its settings accordingly. It connects itself back onto the network in the event of a power failure and doesn't need any further setting. The dimmer feature was excellent, allowing you to 'dial down' the brightness if watching a darker movie or program on a television. Happy to recommend as a value for money product.

These work quite good,easy for putting lights on when you are out n late to get home..
