EVEN THOUGH YOU'LL ORDER AN ASR BRANDED ITEM WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE IS A GENERIC VERSION
EVEN THOUGH YOU'LL ORDER AN ASR BRANDED ITEM WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE IS A GENERIC VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL. IT'S ALSO ONLY 11" LONG, NOT THE 11½" IN LENGTH THAT'S ADVERTISED IN THE ITEMS DESCRIPTION.THAT MAY NOT SOUND LIKE A SUBSTANTIAL DIFFERENCE BUT IT BECOMES QUITE NOTICEABLE DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF YOUR DOMINANT HAND AND YOUR STYLE OF SWING AND GRIP CAUSING RAPID FATIGUING OF YOUR ENTIRE ARM RESULTING IN BEING ABLE TO SPEND FAR LESS TIME IN THE TASK(S) AT HAND

It would be a great product of the handle stayed attached
I like the grade of steel that this hammer is made out of. The biggest disappointment I had was that the handle keeps slipping off. This happened after 2-3 days of use. I even tried to epoxy the handle but unfortunately when your striking a hammer against something hard or solid, the vibration ends up breaking the bond between the two surfaces. I am no longer using the hammer either.

NOT stainless, Rusts, and no lanyard hole
Product is NOT stainless steel. It rusts easily. Mine rusted and made a mess in my bag. Also there is no lanyard hole at the base of the handle.

This is an awesome geology hammer/pick
This is an awesome geology hammer/pick. I used mine in North Carolina mining for garnets. I was impressed by the way is cut into rock. The handle provides a good level shock absorption. I picked at a couple of veins of garnets and the tool held up.

VERY GOOD QUALITY
Very strong pick, been using this pick for amethyst mining and have gotten my value out of this pick. Even hitting very hard granite rocks it holds up and barley scratches, even the tipped side dosent mushroom much even when bashed against granite. I have a test for picks and if it can withstand being bashed again bedrock/granite for long periods of time without too much damage then it worth it, and this pick passed the test, aswell as my rain test where I leave it outside in one rainfall to test the rust rating and it passed aswell as after being in one rain fall and left in the sun, no rust had formed compared to other tools I have tested. Definitely a good pick to anyone rock/gemstone hunting
