Mandolin Tailpiece Mandolin Metal Tailpiece Replacement

I really hate restringing mandolins. It's twice as annoying as restringing anything else except maybe a kora or a sitar. This piece fit well, which was refreshing. It sounds good too.

Junk. I had to drill out new holes to match the holes in my mando. I installed it and put in new strings. While tuning it the tab for the second G string snapped off. A complete ware of my time.

It fit. It was the right part. Always a good thing.

I do not want a replacement...it doesn't fit...cancel this order

This product deserves no stars. This is NOT for a mandolin - there are only 7 string slots. It is pictured with the traditional 8 string slots and that is what I thought I'd be getting. So now i have to take the time to send this back. Wrong! Do not purchase this!

Do not buy this. Unlike the product photograph that showed tabs for eight strings, the part came with seven tabs. I returned it with a description of manufacturing error. Replacement part came (smashed) with seven tabs. Returned second part. Still need a new mandolin tailpiece. =(

Replaced my broken tailpiece on my 40 year old mandolin. Needed to carefully bend it to get the angle right for my bridge but it did the job and my mandolin is as good as it ever was . Brown one in the pic was repaired and now sounds as good as my new black mandolin.
