Gorham846854 Melon Bud Frosted 45-Piece Flatware Set

I love this flatware, it’s beautiful and sturdy and feels comfortable in the hand, no sharp edges. Handles the dishwasher without turning dingy.

Nice to add to our wedding pattern( where did our teaspoons go ?) they are a different factory and steel but the pattern is roughly identical. These are 18/10 stainless versus the ones from the early 2000s were 18/8 I uploaded pics the left are utensils are the original and the right are the new set. The only real difference seems to be the knives the original had a segmented line between top and bottom.

This is a beautiful set. Although it is a bit pricey, the quality is worth it. I read somewhere that it is important to surround yourself with things that bring you joy. My old inexpensive stainless did not do that. I thought about this purchase for a while because of the price. But I have to say, every time I open the drawer, I feel joy. So, a little splurge that time and again, makes me happy.

I have not used it yet or washed it but I am very pleased with the weight and look compared to my frosted melon bud from 16 years ago. Of course it is shiny compared to the old silverware.

This is a beautiful set of flatware. They are very elegant and I thought the value for money was outstanding.

The soup and teaspoons were smaller than expected. And the butter knife’s handle feels hollow. I do like the look of they silverware

I looked extensively through the web for a set that would match my nice plates.The Gorham Frosted series is THE perfect match! It looked and felt exactly as i expected.I'm so pleased with my set!
