Great little kitchen workhorse
I am very pleased with this juicer. It lets me throw most anything in it and never hesitates. The juice that you get is very good. It does have some pulp, generally creating a drink a little thinner than that of an Orange Julius. I like this has it means I still get some of the fruit/vegetable fiber that is so good for me while creating a delicious on-the-go drink. In addition the nozzle heads that come with this juicer are a God send for so many other activities. It makes great pesto, mincing and grinding what I don't have the patience to chop into tiny pieces. The pasta function is great!! I am gluten free and can't seem to find GF egg noddles anywhere. They were easy to make with this machine. The key is consistent, smooth feeding of the dough into the machine. In general I would recommend this juicer to anyone. Will your juice be like juice out of a can (ie. zero pulp)? No, but I think that is kind of the point.Follow-Up (3-6-13): We've had the juicer for several months now and it still works like the day it came out of the package. We are still very happy with it.

Not good for first juicer.
This is my 3rd juicer. Do not buy this if it's going to be your first. This is my first masticating juicer. It comes with a ton of attachments that I will probably never use. I will not use the pasta maker. I probably won't be grinding anything. Lots of parts to clean up. I juice almost daily.Pros: Juice yield is more than my previous Le Quip juicer. That juicer was easier to use and easier to clean. Fewer moving parts. The yield is the most positive I can say about it. I would have been turned off from juicing if this had been my first.Cons: Feed chute is really narrow. More cutting. It doesn't do leafy vegetables like kale easily. One reviewer suggested to do it last. I do it in the beginning and alternate celery with it otherwise it will clog. This juicer takes longer so I now do a double batch because juicing is more cumbersome. The motor seems strong enough but I've only had it a month. I have resigned myself to use it until I burn it out. I burned out the Le Quip in about 9 months. That seems too soon. I only do green juice so it isn't as though I'm constantly putting it under strain. Upgraded to masticating when it died and I haven't been impressed. Decided to give it a try rather than return it. I am still just tolerating it. Don't love it.

My 30 day juicer review!
***Update: The seller I bought from either is out or raised the price to a bit over 200.00 Either way I'm still very happy with this juicer and even more happy with the great deal I got!Day 30 using this 160.00 masticating juicer from Kuvings and I am pleased to say that I give my unofficial yet official stamp of approval For those on a very limited budget but want the best juicer their money can buy I recommend giving this juicer serious consideration. I say if you are going to make juicing a part of your regular diet then get a juicer that will get you the most nutritional bang for your buck! The plunger is a bit off to my touch but I'm used to the more narrow at the top rubber feel of the ones for my other juicers but no one else was bothered by it except me. I've 3 other people in my house who have been giving this juicer a workout and they started juicing a lot more bc they liked the results of the juice yield and quality over the high speed models they had been using. We used this juicer for anywhere to an hour to a bit over two hours daily for the last 30 days! No overheating issues, but it was also used correctly! In other words you cannot run a juicer like this continuously and not mixing how you put your produce in the chute. It's also about as quiet as my Omega 8005...Or should I say it has minimal amounts of noise. The pulp comes out much drier than any centrifigal juicer (the high speed ones and that includes the much over rated Breville) not quite as dry as my Omega or Greenstar but I see the differences as negligible for most home juicing requirements.Easy clean-up (approximately same amount of time as any of the Omega models) and it comes with a lot of extra attachments. It's Korean made, which means that motor will run for years to come and Kuvings has an excellent reputation for quality and ease of parts replacement because their warehouse is in Chicago and packed to the gills (I took a tour recently lol). The only other con I can think of right now is that certain leafy greens masticate a bit more foamy than I'd like. Dino Kale, cabbage and Arugula seem to be the worst offenders but I also have minimized that by wrapping the leaves around a thin cut veggie like zucchini or a carrot.I would LOVE for the chutes on these style of juicers to be wider to cut down on prep time, but again, making a lifestyle shift means shifting how you prioritize your time. So chopping veggies n fruit has long ago become a ritual for me and our dogs LOL***My dogs love fruits and veggies, the ones theyre allowed to have I mean...The seller I bought mine from seems to have the best price on this model of juicer nd the shipping was a day earlier than I was expecting and that's always a plus

Fits my needs perfectly
I like this masticating juicer. It is quiet, and can run for a long time. The fruits and veggies still have to cut to fit in the tube, but it does pull most items down own it's own, faster than I can cut. I rarely have to push the fruits or veggies through the tube, mostly just leafy items. Not real impressed with how it does spinach but it does wonderful on kale. The juice can be stored for up to 72 hours also. The clean it up is easy. The many features make it more of an asset than just as a juicer. It is perfect for me. I'm glad I chose this one. I have had it for almost a month, it seems sturdy and pray it keeps working for a good many years.
