Certain manufacturers make generic bags, Lenovo is definitely not one of them. I am pretty certain that they used their own Thinkpads to do the pocket fitting. With my work Thinkpad T590, the bag is bespoke for the laptop, fitting effortlessly and perfectly. For larger 15.6" profiles, it is a little small, and I think this is too small for very large profile 15.6" laptops (gaming ones like the Acer Nitro will not fit in this). The other pockets are quite standard but well thought out. This has a slim, professional profile, and this can be handled as a briefcase or you can attach a shoulder strap to it.If ou have a Lenovo or smaller profile to ultrabook sized 15.6", this is a nice bag with good padding. For value or gaming 15.6", this is probably too small for your taste. This will be the case I will use for my work 15.6".

I've been wearing laptop backpacks for two decades but actually have a crossbody laptop bag like this, which is lightweight and not too bulky is a better look now. The inside of the bag is fine - the Laptop sleeve isn't that tight, which I wish was different, but there is more than enough room for my 13" MacBook Pro, notebooks and power cords. Its a little more grown up than a backpack but not too 'fancy' like an OG briefcase.

This bag looks great and is very functional. The fabric is stylish, yet looks easy to clean. It's the type of fabric that will last for years and you won't notice the age. The first part to show the bags age will likely be the handle. They are sturdy and adequate, but made out of a typical nylon weave. The zippers are water resistant and very smooth to operate. There are three zippered compartments, one of which is padded on both sides. The padded compartment has a separation in it for organization. There is an access hole in the main compartment where you can run a wire through. It is tucked under a flap, so water would still not get in. This would be great for music or charging a cell phone from a battery pack. Overall a great bag. The only reason I took off a star is because of the price. At the time of this review, this bag is selling for just over $38. If you can find this on sale, it would be an excellent deal.

This is a great bag with lots of space! It's weather resistant, so your laptop and stuff won't get hurt in the rain. It also has very strong zippers. This bag won't break for years!

I’m not sure what Lenovo considers dedicated padding (as described in the product description). I generally use a Targus geolite backpack for my 15.6” Chromebook, but wanted something a bit more professional for work purposes. Outer padding on both bags is sufficient, but the padding that separates inner walls inside this bag are much flimsier. Both bags are advertised to fit laptops up to 15.6 inches, but this one is a pretty tight fit, and as a result, it’s not that easy to insert or remove the Chromebook.I wish I had chosen a more business-like Targus bag instead of this one. While it's attractive, the interior stitching isn’t as good, and compartment areas are more thoughtfully laid out on my Targus backpack. On the plus side, I do like the slim design and lightweight quality. I also like that the shoulder strap is detachable.Had I nothing to compare this case with, I would have given it a higher rating. I can overlook most of the differences described above, but difficulty getting the laptop in and out of this case is my main grievance.

This is a great laptop bag, and is very durable.I actually use it to hold two 11.6 inch laptops and chargers, as well as an iPad, and they all fit great.This bag comes clean very easily.

Love it!Sturdy!Spacious!The handles are a bit awkward... but that’s my only complaint.
