I’ve been using this Chefman electric kettle every day for my coffee, I have it like 1 year ago still working perfectly, I’m honestly impressed by how fast it boils water. It’s super easy to use and looks really nice on my countertop. I also love that it shuts off automatically once the water is ready — no worries about forgetting it on! The handle stays cool, and it’s easy to clean too. Definitely worth every penny if you like hot drinks or need boiling water quickly. Highly recommend!

Love this kettle, heats water quickly, easy to use in. Great quality good price. Easy to clean by adding vinegar to the water and boil it.

My mother in law had one that she was using for her tea while we were at her home over the holidays this past year, and I liked it but not set on purchasing one for my home as I have tea pots, etc. We recently went camping (in a camper)and she was with us and brought her glass kettle. Our water was boiled very quickly for us to have our tea, (didn't use the diffuser) and kids hot chocolate and I decided I HAD to have one, though during winter I'll use both, because I love the whistling of my tea kettle. I bought it and love it just as much as I anticipated! It has been a 5 star electric water kettle. Ive had no issues from it whatsoever. Debating on purchasing another to leave in the camper as well. Glad my mother inl law brought hers on the trip to convince me!

This kettle's automatic shutoff works by directing steam through a channel to the bottom electrical elements. This has several reprecussions. First you must NEVER operate it with the cover off. Without the cover the steam is not redirected to the bottom and the device will just stay on and if unattended could easily catch fire. At the least you risk melting the plastic base thereby welding the kettle to the base unit. Second, steaming the electrical elements drastically reduces their potential lifespan such that you end up with corroded contacts that won't allow the unit to turn on. I cleaned my contacts with a file and got two weeks more use out of the machine. YMMV. That said, I gave this 4 stars because it heats water fast. It's very convenient.

Does not last ! I’ve had this kettle a little over a year and a half and its functions have diminished. If you fill it more than half way it will not heat tge water to boiling. It gets very warm then shuts down. This is not worth the money. There are other brands with more settings that last longer. DISAPPOINTING

I love everything about this 1.8 litter kettle. I won't call it a tea kettle, because it has so many more uses beyond tea. Any time you have a need for quick boiling water - whether, it be for rice, noodles, instant soups, etc. - this kettle is the one that will deliver. Of course you can make coffees, and teas with ease, as well. The kettle comes with an internal diffuser, that you can place your loose teas or coffees in, then simply slide it under the grips on the underside of the lid and you're ready to brew! The glass pot is a work of art and genius and watching the blue led lights come on and take center stage in your kitchen - What a show! Of course, locate the kettle anywhere it's convenient for you, but with always keeping safety in mind. You will love the ease in which the pot swivels on its base, making it easy to pick it up from almost any angle. The most important feature for me is the end product and for me, that will usually be the clearest, cleanest and greatest tasting tea to be had. Between the finest of holes in the diffuser itself and the internal screen filter in the pouring spout, you should get the same pure results I get when making my loose leaf teas. Safety features like auto shut-off, especially if the pot is dry, will throw the kettle into the MUST HAVE zone! Great price, great looks, astonishing results. What are you waiting for?

Chefman heats up fast. used mine for a couple of years now and it's still going.

Edited second time to add that I requested service via Amazon link. Got an auto reply email saying 5-7 days or some such. Second auto reply email saying it's taking a bit longer than expected. Right. I drink tea almost every day and this is not what I would hope for. I held on to it not knowing if the mfg would replace it or what. I suppose I'll throw it in the trash and buy another brand—terrible service, typical in today's world. Don't patronize Chefman unless you want a disposable product that won't last even a year. Side note, I took perfect care of it the entire time. No damage on my side. It just stopped working. Edited to add that I filled the kettle as usual a couple days ago. It started to warm up the water then it clicked and turned itself off. Was not able to re-start it at the on/off switch. The plug and electrical cord was very hot. I've submitted a request on their website for service. Not optimistic that I'll get a response. Bought less than a year ago, so that isn't very good. Looks much nicer than my former (2) Black & Decker black plastic kettles. This one has some interior blue lights that I guess are intended to remind the user that it is plugged in and heating up! Kind of funny actually. The only feature that this one doesn't have that my old B & D ones had is auto shutoff when it gets to a rolling boil. This one says it has a boil dry shut off feature. Overall, I like it. I am drying it out on the inside after every use and leaving the top off to hopefully extend its life and prevent rust since I live in a humid area.

Very impressed with the function and the appearance of this kettle. I am using this just for boiling water for my flowering tea and my combucha at the same time. It quietly (and beautifully) boils 7 cups of water in well under 5 minutes and then shuts off. This was purchased on Cyber Monday for less than half of the current price.

Muy buena calidad se ve muy elegante y calienta muy bien y rápido. Y si se apaga sola cuando ya calentó bien el agua. Si la recomiendo.

Excelente producto

Good value kettle. Glass sides, metal base. The only improvement I would like is the underside of the lid to be metal, it's plastic. Something to be aware of is if you lift the kettle off the base before it finishes boiling, it doesn’t switch off so will start boiling again once you replace it.

Working good, wife uses every day to make tea. Easy, clear marks to fill with water.
