Scandinavian Geometric Wall Stencil - Bold Radial Hexagon Segments for Bathroom, Single Stencil

Excellent stencil. Sturdy, yet flexible and easy to use. Used a good quality painter's tape to hold the stencil in place. As suggested by others, I purchased a stencil set on Amazon with a clip on level which was great to make sure my first few placements were straight. Running a foam roller over a few pieces of paper towel prior to applying to the stencil made such a difference. You DO NOT want a lot of paint on your roller. As others have mentioned, the fact that it is a geometric pattern is very forgiving. Yes, there were areas that didn't come out perfect but it is hard to tell and it all blends in. Very happy with the results. It transferred our boring laundry room.

This stencil is way bigger than expected but it was my fault for not looking at the dimensions! It's great quality, and came rolled up in a box, but flattened out right away. I used 3M repositioning adhesive spray to keep it on the wall as well as painters tape since we have textured walls and that worked great. I used a round foam spouncer from Walmart and dabbed the paint on. A little tedious but I love the way it turned out!

I love the look of this, but an edge piece would've been nice. I've received stencils before from other sellers with an edge piece that has helped tremendously. I love stencils and am not new to the process by any means. As you can see, this required meticulous touching up/filling in. What should've taken me 2 hours max took 4.5 hours. I recommend either purchasing a second stencil to create you own edge pieces or setting aside extra time to perfect your stenciling job if you're a perfectionist like me. Update: Ugh. I did it again because I love the look of this one so much! It was easier this go, except for around the toilet. I recommend using plenty of stencil adhesive, as well as a foam roller brush. Be sure to roll away excess paint onto a paper towel before rolling onto the wall/stencil. Have a damp cloth or paper towel ready for smudge control. Don't be afraid to wipe away part of the pattern if smudging is really bad and go back over it. Appreciate the perfect imperfections, as they show it's custom - hard work! - and not wallpaper.

First of all, I would definitely recommend getting spray adhesive if you have colors that are of a high contrast. I stenciled black on white and you can definitely see some “bleeding.” I feel like this wouldn’t have been as much of an issue if I had sided the spray adhesive. But it still turned out amazing! My wall is also textured, so that may have been a factor with the bleeding. But I’d definitely buy and use this again.

Stenciling the kitchen added a personal touch to our apartment. I fell in love with the pattern because of all the photo reviews on Amazon. I have never used a stencil before so there was a bit of a learning curve. The overall process is simple, but I think stenciling this particular design was a little trickier as a beginner. The product was sturdy yet malleable so it helped when stenciling around corners, light switches, and outlets. I read the reviews and bought the spray on adhesive. I highly recommend using it for the appliqué. There are minor imperfections (bleed through, smudges, inconsistencies with paint thickness) throughout which I think comes with the territory of stenciling. That said, they do lend that personal, DIY touch to the decor and a sense of pride and accomplishment. The overall result is stunning. Thanks for taking the time to read my review!

It’s huge which is so helpful. I didn’t do the best job lining it up, but it’s fiiiiine lol. I like the kind of messy look I ended up with. Use a foam roller or you won’t get crisp edges. Some of the wood I was painting was textured weird already so that’s mostly why it looks a little messy. The stencil made things fast and easy.

I wanted to do a fun accent wall on a small wall in my kitchen. I originally was looking into wallpaper but most of the ones I gravitated towards were more money than I wanted to spend since I would need at least 2 rolls. I ended up finding this stencil and I knew it was perfect. It was a 2 day project. Painting the base coat was super easy since it was a small wall so that part was very quick but I wanted it to be fully dry before stenciling. The stencil portion took probably about 6 hours. I have never stenciled on a large scale before. This stencil design was very forgiving of a little paint seeped out the edge. I am kind of a perfectionist and these little “mistakes” or bleeds would probably driven me nuts if the stencil design were different. I did buy spray adhesive to use with but I didn’t end up needing it. I bought a clip on level to use with the stencil and that came in handy. Everyone who has seen my wall is amazed when they find out it’s not wallpaper. I love it so much and I will definitely check out other stencils by this company for other projects. Highly recommend and love the way it turned out!

This is the best stencil I have ever used. Holds up great and sticks pretty well with spray adhesive. Looks like wallpaper. Super easy to use. I recommend using a large, flat head chalk paint brush in a stippling motion to apply paint. Barely any seepage underneath, but even so, it leans itself to the texture of the pattern. Very bohemian!
